Delmar Chop Suey Reviews
At Delmar’s you walk up to the window to order. Then, they quickly give you fresh, hot food. The man was nice and the food was fresh. I just wish the food had more flavor.
Great food for years
This is a hole in the wall Chinese place. It is an old gas station. The waiting area is a very uninviting, and somewhat prison like atmosphere. Honestly, some of the patrons are threatening and sketchy. I am not a fan of the neighborhood, but it is close to the VA, Powell Hall, and the Fox theater.
I got the special fried rice half order

Delmar Chop Suey is a cozy restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the prices are reasonable. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the excellent Chicken Lo Mein, which has large portions and plenty of chicken. Customers recommend the Low Mein, Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, and Egg Fu Young, with the Duck Fried Rice being a specialty. The food is served hot and fresh, but be prepared to wait a few minutes for it to be made. Customers note that the restaurant is cash-only, so be sure to have cash on hand before visiting. Despite the small size and lack of seating inside, Delmar Chop Suey is known for its delicious Chinese cuisine and is a popular choice for locals.
