My husband and I ate there this morning for brunch. The portions were huge and delicious! I got the pancakes and they were massive! He got the country friend steak and potatoes and raves about how good it was. We got the gooey butter cake to go and it is the best gooey butter cake we have ever had!
Wow! These PORTIONS were quite literally kind blowing. My parents had to split the country breakfast (with plenty leftover), while my boyfriend made a valiant effort to finish his own (he got about 2/3 in before throwing in the towel!). I ordered the waffles with a side of bacon. This is the only brunch place in the city that offers TWO Belgium waffles for the price of one. My wife and I stopped by this morning before a four hour drive home for breakfast. I had the smoked pork chop with eggs and a biscuit, my wife a vegetable omelet. Both were fantastic, the portions were large and the prices very reasonable. The service was great. Highly recommend.
