I came here in the morning to pick up vegetables, and the employees cleaned and well-maintained this place. It has various things you need from a grocery store, and the location is safe compared to the others I've been to! If you need a friendly neighborhood grocery store, this is your place!
The store was clean enough, considering the sloppy cold weather and resultant shopper load. The shelves were poorly stocked, but again, the weather provided a reasonable explanation. There was a considerable amount of "reduced for quick sale" greying meat and seafood throughout those sections, but they were clearly marked, so buyer beware, I suppose. The Schnucks on Arsenal is my go to. I don't want to say anything bad about the store as the people who work there are all so nice. I was sad to see the olive bar and salad bar have been replaced with a do it yourself chicken bar. My roommates favorite cheese has a place tag and price, but not actually stocked with the cheese. The deli is....slow. Irritatingly slow. It's frustrating to see so many workers behind the counter, and only two of them waiting on a crowd of customers....read full review
