“I’ve been coming to grizzly bear for years with friends and family. I love the atmosphere inside and outside. The historical building is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was mine and my sisters bartender and she was so sweet and attentive. Absolutely love her! 10/10 definitely recommend. The wings are delicious and I love playing darts in the front room. Never a dull moment at the grizzly bear.“

“I ordered the corned beef sandwich with french fries and a pickle spear. I received a thick stack of corned beef which was nice. The corned beef had more fat in it than I like. The french fries were not cooked enough. I could tell by the color then confirmed when I bit into them. The french fries did not have the crunchy texture although they were seasoned well. I received great service at the bar. The restaurant has a fun vibe to it. They have a very large parking lot in front of the restaurant.“

"Stan, Matt & Marlowe were charming and cordial to all. The owner (Matt/Chef) is one of the nicest and most hospitable folks you'll ever want to meet. Truly cares about his customers. Stay clear of Bill... Why you ask? He was a smug, rude & a disingenuous individual. Brought in six (6) people & spent over $300.00 with no other customers dining that day. “Pretty big bar. The inside has a few games to play but I imagine summer time is when they pick up with business. There are sand volleyball courts and a huge patio. The patio is partially covered in some areas. The best part of the patio is you can bring you dog!!“

“One of the weirdest hockey rings I've ever been to. Inline hockey on one side and ice hockey on the other and then there's basically a rundown mall right through the center... When it said All American sports Mall I didn't expect it to actually be a mall! There's like six or seven stores that were looked like they have been closed down for a long time. Ice was in great shape though that's why they get four stars. I do like the viewing area from the top It was a different experience than I'm used to.“

I personally recommend the Lou Chick and Peppercorn Chicken Sandwich. Fries, wings and chips were great too. “The food was great. I eat there all the time. If you sit on the bar side make sure to sit in Emma's section. She is the best waitress there and she is the sweetest lady there is. She is always on top of it and has been able to carry two drinks in one hand without spilling them. “I knew the owners of this place. Rose and Tony. My grandma took me down there when I was two. She ran a run down apt complex right next to there. I can’t believe it is still there. Rose and Tony would come to my house for holidays. I will be visiting there soon. It was a nice little dive bar the last time I was there. I worked at the west and cafe. I think rose and Tony were still alive at that point. Like 30 years ago. Love them and I loved this little bar.“

“I was host to approximately 30 to 35 professional people for an evening. The food was unbelievably delicious; and Taylor attended to us flawlessly. She never missed a beat and got it all right. The atmosphere was great in spite of it being a memorial service. There was a second table almost as large as ours, and there was plenty of room to spare. I had shopped around a few places; none of them seemed compatible for my needs. Mitch was the mgr., and he was great as well. He had asked several times how everything was. I had visited the place once more by myself before my return trip home. Great place, great atmosphere, great food, and great service. If you get the chance, go!!“

“This was our first time eating here, and we will absolutely return! The hostess immediately greeted us and asked if we wanted a high or low top table. Our server, Michaela, was absolutely amazing! She very quickly gave me recommendations on both food and drinks when I asked her, and her recommendations did not disappoint! My husband ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Following Michaela’s recommendation, I ordered the steak sandwich on garlic cheese bread. Even well-done, it was still tender and juicy. Our server graciously took our picture when I asked her to. I decided to have the hostess send over a manager so I could sing Michaela’s praises. The hostess immediately went to get a manager for me, and that manager came very quickly to my table. She was appreciative of us calling her over for a positive report on one of her employees. All in all, it was a great night!“

“It's my goto for Sunday football or Blues hockey. The food is always excellent, everyone seems to know everyone and makes it very inviting. The one minus on football it only blast one game on the audio and no music on halftime.

Parking: Don't park across the street at the daycare lot. ANYTIME They will towe your vehicle!

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar restaurant. Great for afternoon lunch and early dinners.
