Friendly ppl and great food
Zito is a great Eastern European casual restaurant and bakery! They bake their bread fresh in-house, and their small European market has plenty of your favorite quick-grab foods and specialty items. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely a great spot for authentic Eastern European food, fresh bread, and groceries!

Zlatno Zito Bakery and Deli is a small, cozy place known for its bakery, limited grocery selection, and full menu. It is a great south side spot in the Bevo neighborhood, recently remodeled. The restaurant specializes in Bosnian dishes, especially veal and lamb served on weekends, including delicious cevapi and sarma with generous portions. Visitors often enjoy the gyro sandwich, one of the best doner gyros in the city, made with house-made bread. The bakery features fantastic burek variations as well as standard breads, and the grocery shelves are stocked with Balkan and Mediterranean goods. The staff is very kind and helpful. Zlatno Zito is considered a hidden gem and well worth a visit.
