“It’s just the cutest little mom and Pop shop ever! My favorite part is how fresh the food is. When I placed my order, I actually watched them prep a fresh chicken breast, not frozen, or precooked, but fresh! I don’t know what they use in their breadings, but I think they’re the best chicken strips on the face of the Earth and don’t even get me started on the onion rings! One of the few great route 66 stops left .“

“This is one of Springfield‘s best restaurants. The food is excellent and it is a very large restaurant so it’s easier to get a table. It’s a little loud near the bar but other than that it’s a wonderful experience.Parking: Parking can be a little difficult to find as there are other businesses near it, sharing the same lot. The regulars tend to make spots near the front door, which make it difficult to maneuver around happy hour.“

“I had the best gluten free cauliflower crust pizza with cheese and mushrooms. The mushrooms were sautéed in a delicious seasoning and placed on top the cheese. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to work as a team. I can’t wait to go back!!“

“I love blacksheep but tonight my food was just not good and it was so disappointing because we usually never have any complaints. I got the loaded fries and they were not very good which getting them to go happens but the "pulled pork" was just huge chunks of extremely tough meat I could barely chew.“

“Wednesday the 3-21-2024 was my first time ever coming here and it was a wonderful experience. The food was awesome. I had an avocado chicken sandwich with fries and the dip to go with the fries was oh so good the owner served us and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had just been at his flea market behind shopping so that’s how we found out about the place so wonderful wonderful experience and I will be back and I highly recommend it. Roy“

“Southwest Missouri is fortunate to have Harvest! Chef Craig and the Farmers Daughter Tamara bring the best ingredients, locally sourced, to the highest culinary level in the area. Always a pleasure and delight to see the visual presentation and experience Chef’s flavor profile. Reasonable prices considering the quality. Our table of 8 had Kendall (?? couldn’t hear him), and he was rather clueless. Biggest problem was serving my soup without a spoon and when he finally came by, the soup was cooled. When asked if I could get it reheated and served with a spoon he replied it would have to be remade and it was still warm enough (he was holding it). He continued with this reply and would not make it right. I understand how difficult it is to find staff and I will always return for the excellent menu.“

“Nice, comfortable beds. We invaded the lobby and bar area before and after a wedding. Peg was so friendly and accommodating. She tried to dim the lighting as best as she could, put on the football game we liked, and let us play music! Too hot to take advantage of the outside area - darn. Would stay again. Bring a nightlight if you do to avoid bring bathroom lighting during night.“

“We don't usually do GC, neither my husband nor I have ever had a good experience at one before. However, I just had a tooth surgically removed & needed things I could eat without chewing, so it was our best option.THIS GC was EXCEPTIONAL! Everything was hot & they were on top of refilling all the food! Our server was by our table several times making sure our table was never cluttered & our drinks were always full! It wasn't overcrowded, like most GC we have been to. The Pot Roast was SO TENDER, it just fell apart!! The mashed potatoes were creamy & fluffy! My husband got a steak and it was super tender too! I was even able to savor a small piece or two lol There was also some kind of Chocolate syrup pie that was to die for!All in all excellent experience! Would recommend!“

“Our server/waitress Ashton was an absolute CHAMP! This young lady never once lost her smile, got a single order wrong nor a single drink incorrect! We we're in a group of 20+ people tonight and the restaurant was PACKED! I HOPE SHE GETS RECOGNIZED FOR HER AMAZING SERVICE! Also the cooks and the reat of the wait staff did an all atound amazing job not counting the one server who was a bit overwhelmed but honestly who could blame hom lol. All in all great great staff!“

“I got here after 9pm and was on my way well before 6am so there was no opportunity to eat a meal this time. Cracker Barrel supports the RV lifestyle by allowing RVers to use their parking lots with the polite request (but not requirement) that we purchase a meal. I didn't on this particular stop but did later on my journey.Clean parking lot, reasonably quiet considering that it's close to major roads. But this late at night and it was good enough! “The food was really good and the staff was really friendly. The inside look of the restaurant was decent but the outside is OUT OF DATE. We pulled up outside and almost left. The paint is faded, the wooden wall panels are coming loose, and it wasn't for the cars in the parking lot I would have guessed it was closed down. Other than the building everything was good and I would go back.“

Service is a bit slow, not due to volume, but due to the fact that only one employee, the girl with light brown hair, seems to work and she does everything bussing tables, making our shakes, delivering orders, etc. for the entire restaurant. The other employees stand for long periods of time staring at their phones while this poor girl runs circles. One young gentleman who works here spends a significant amount of time behind the counter running his fingers through his fledgling beard as if this will coax it to grow instead of just spreading dead skin cells and random sheds over the shake area. Other than that, it is great.“
