“First time trying this place with my fiancé! We ordered QuesaBirrias, Street tacos (carne asada, chorizo, and been tongue), and for dessert we got Mini sopapillas with side of vanilla ice cream. I was shocked to see what’s in these.It would be immoral to even fed these to anyone we know after learning about what they’re allowed to add to them.Very yummy but very disappointed about the:Titanium dioxide which has genotoxic effects. This means that it has the ability to damage DNA, leading to cancer.Red 3 which is banned in California & pending in NY (also banned in Europe).BHA which is an endocrine disrupter (think hormone problems or early puberty).TBHQ which negatively affects “T-cells” in the body (which are generally used to fight infections) in a way that promotes allergies to tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat and shellfish.I could continue sadly because there are many many more of their ingredients that are alarmingly questionable.I hope corporate decides to move towards healthy ingredients because I would love to come back if these and several other ingredients can be removed. I want cookies, not body disrupting chemicals to feed my family.For the price point, these cookies shouldn’t be flat out detrimental to every aspect of human health.“

“A surprise find of a little shop I found by googling milkshakes. This was the first instance of the kids getting to see rolled up ice cream in person. The guy doing the chopping and freezing was fast and very skilled. It was pretty much a show with the ice cream.The lady working the till was excellent too, giving the kids plenty of chances order on their own.Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. It doesn't go over the top trying to bring that feeling, either - it seems like it's just survived all this time and is still around. We tried the jalapeno grilled cheese, and it was about what I expected: American cheese and canned jalapenos on white bread, grilled on a panini maker or something similar. Not bad, but certainly not fancy by any means (and probably not worth the $8 or $10). I'd like to see them upgrade the ice cream brand, as they currently use Belfonte. The malt was very good, and the ice cream nachos were pretty good and an interesting idea with waffle chips and candy.
