“We each had the catfish dinner, with okra, fries and coleslaw. This was the cleanest tasting fried food I think I have ever had. None of the flavors blended from over used oil, fries tasted like fries, fish tasted like fish and the okra was on point. The catfish is not little snack bites either, slabs! To add to the fantastic experience, the tarter sauce was home made and excellent. I wish we had gotten the name of our server, she has a challenger, but she was super nice, made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place as a destination dinner, small but very nice place. Atmosphere, service , and excellent food. Thank you Cookies for such a wonderful experience!!“

“Stopped at The Dinner Bell today, on a motorcycle ride, with my sister and nephew. I had the Hamburger Steak with, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cole slaw, and Texas Toast. My sister had the Chicken Strips with, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cole slaw, and Texas Toast. My nephew had the Chili with a Cheeseburger. The three of us agreed that the food was fantastic. Good home cooked meals. My sister and I could not finish our meals. The waitress was perfect, as was the cook. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Did not feel like we didn't belong there. The staff and locals were very friendly. This was my second time here. Will not hesitate to go back again. Would recommend to anyone to stop here for great home cooked food.“
