“Excellent BBQ! I love the good smoked flavor and the meat is always tender. They have a great variety of dishes and fries lol. What is up with some of these BBQ places not serving fries?! I love the rustic/antique vibe, which adds to the dining. On a nice day, they have a dining area on the front porch. The service is always wonderful.“
“Great variety of food. If you can't eat spicy food they serve breakfast all day and it too is delicious. This particular meal there was a very large, loud crew sitting behind so the atmosphere was not very pleasant, but the family that owns and runs that business are very hard working, honest people! Highly recommend!!!Features: They have renovated and the food was very good.“
“Great food. Acceptable prices. Service was on point. I was with my crew (6 including myself) and our bill was under $100. Food portions weren't too big or too small. Food may have taken a couple extra minutes than somewhere else, but you could tell it was because everything was cook to order and fresh. If I HAD to pick a negative maybe the fries? I prefer mine with some seasoning. Otherwise, perfect place!“
“I’ve eaten at so many restaurants ( haven’t we all? ) and have enjoyed some $$$$ restaurants as money would allow.. but the atmosphere, service ( and of course most importantly ) the taste and quality of the food here is impeccable. I will drive 6 hours to eat here alone. The room was cozy, the walking path was memorable for me and my son and the white river was beautiful. Truly happy experience all around.“
“This review is only for the cabins, the restaurant was closed when we went.The cabins were very nice and affordable. They were centrally located next to a few trails and a bunch of canoe/kayak rental shops. I will say I was surprised to see two of the beds were located outside on an enclosed patio. It didn’t effect us but something to think about if it’s very cold or hot when your going.“
