“One of my favorite places for lunch. The Kirkwood location has a really fun arcade room sure to make any gathering for any ages unique and interesting. The street corn, margaritas, empanadas and three piggies burrito are my favorites!“

“We went there with a large group. The atmosphere was great! Beautiful views and nice setup. Odd thing though, when we arrived early the waitress said we wouldn't get service until the start time. I understand maybe not having dedicated service but do you really want to not serve customers that are willing to drink? ?“
“It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!

“This little dive bar is so adorable. There were a couple of pups there which i loved. But im not sure if dogs are allowed so they might have been service dogs. The bartender was very nice and i even got "gonged" for being a first timer. It sucks they dont serve food. But the regulars there were very nice and welcoming. There is a touch tunes juke box available. Only down side is that there is smoking allowed inside. But i will definitely be back because it was a great experience.“

“Best filet I’ve had at a restaurant in years—perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The au poivre sauce was rich and dreamy. Warm, crusty bread with their butter-olive oil combo started things off right. Shrimp scampi was spot-on. Fries with the steak were crisp and addictive, especially with the aioli and ketchup. Sat at the bar—service was good, just needed a touch more attention. Overall, killer meal. I’ll be back.

“It was a rare out of town date night for us and we chose Olive and Oak for a couple reasons. They were open late on Sunday and the menu looked amazing. From start to finish, this was a wonderful dining experience. The NA mocktails were amazing. The atmosphere is stunning. We tried several different things on the menu and were not disappointed by any of them. Our server, Jordan, was fantastic. My boyfriend is a restaurant owner/chef in Columbia and to watch him truly enjoy every bit of that meal made my heart happy as well. We will absolutely be back. Many times:)“

“If you're on the fence about where to grab coffee or breakfast with a friend or colleague look no further than Ivy Cafe. The food and coffee is excellent, the service is top notch and its a nice calming atmosphere to foster great conversations. The owners are pretty cool too.“

“We had our company holiday party here and they did an amazing job. the ambience was PERFECT, food was amazing, drinks were awesome and the staff was delightful. The evening was a huge hit with everyone, I'm certain many of us will be back for a dinner or group event, can't go wrong.“

“We had my niece’s 25th birthday here and I was a fabulous party. We asked for Becky to serve us which she always does with exuberant smiles and attention. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.“

“After reading reviews, we wanted to take a chance on this bar. We are from out of state and look for low-key places. We love smaller 'dive' bars. We were greeted right away by the friendly Madi behind the bar. Great conversations, lots of laughs, and good prices. The kitchen was closed, so we are unable to speak to that. But - do not let a few nay-sayers turn you off from checkin this bar out.“

“My husband and I came here for our anniversary. I made reservations online and in the comments added that we would be celebrating our anniversary. The restaurant went above and beyond with an anniversary card at the table to sparklers in our dessert! It was so special, a dinner to really remember! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! We will be back!“

“Disappointing brunch at Herbies - food was good, but our service was terrible. When we were seated (we had a reservation) we were told the kitchen was very backed up, a cook had called in and it would be awhile for our food to come out so we better order quickly, um okay. Annoying - then it actually didn't take too long for 3 of our groups of 6's food to be delivered. It did however to get the next two and the final dish was served when the rest of the group was just about done eating. No offer of a discount / compensation and the autogratted our check because we were a party of 6 Terrible service.“

“I loved it! This past Saturday was my 1st time going. The service was wonderful!!! The atmosphere was relaxing and fun.....good music, good smoking on the patio,...but the only thing was my food (Fried Shrimp Basket) was extremely salty....I didn't want to complain since I waited so long after I ordered, so I just ate them....but they were not good.
When our waitress came over I did inform her about the taste of the Shrimp and why I didn't say anything earlier on.....and she was kind enough to offer me a comp for the Shrimp. Also I got a Margarita and my friend got a Tequila Sunrise. The drinks were a bit too juicy & sweet and we couldn't hardly taste any alcohol in them. However, we didn't complain...we drank them.
After we paid for food and cashed out...we went outside on the patio and vibed out the rest of time we were there.
I will return again because I enjoyed myself and I'm also willing to give the food and drinks another try as well. Hopefully my next visit....will be an even better experience ????“

“We were celebrating our daughter receiving her Ph D. This place was highly recommended. Had a WONDERFUL experience. The food was fabulous. The staff extremely friendly. Nice wide open space. Being in the business. I was watching the other staffs interaction with guests and other co workers. EXCELLENT VIBE in the house. HIGHLY recommend. All in All. Guests Staff. Food. Cleanliness.
