“Our first trip ever to the Balkan Treat Box started with a very helpful server coming up to us at where you order and handing us the menus and helping us decide what to get. It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors! We were checked on by the staff several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everyone was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend. Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “I was never much of a fan of Indian food, but Flavors has changed my mind. I have enjoyed several dishes, and have enjoyed expanding my tastes. I stay with Mostly chicken as I'm not a big fan of Lamb. but also have enjoyed several of the vegetable dishes, and always order enough to take some home for the next day...honestly after 24 hours in the fridge the flavors meld and I find it very enjoyable. While the decor is pretty plain (what indian or asian restaurant isn't?) it is very clean and the servers have always been prompt polite and accommodating. Last but certainly important is there are a lot of customers of Indian descent. Go try it and enjoy expanding your tastes.“

“The new restaurant in Creve Coeur is now open. The food is distinctly different than some other indian foods I have eaten. It is well presented and delicious. However with any new openning there are issues. On the night we were there it was crowded although there was not a wait for a table for 2. Our service was very poor. I hope this problem will be quickly remedied.“
