“This is the first time I have been to HotShots Sports Bar and Grill. I had a great time. I went during happy hour, which means they discounted food and drinks. Wings are only $4 for a 6 piece with a variety of sauces and / or dry rubs. We played pool which is a dollar a game. They also have lots of tv sports, darts, arcade games and a covered outdoor porch area. I recommend HotShots if you are trying to go play some pool and have a good time watching sports. Fast service and very friendly waitress.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. This is a sports bar and kids don't mix well with bars.“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“I drive past this place a lot and never paid it any attention. My friend and I wanted some frozen drinks and food. When I say this place was a pleasant surprise. From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. I had my heart set on something I didn’t see in person but that’s not a dealbreaker. They will see us again.“

“I like Fallon's. It's a casual restaurant. You can dine with friends or family in a laid-back setting. It's also cool to watch sports as well. I've eaten at this restaurant three times. Each time prior to my most recent visit, I got the Club sandwich. This time, I tried a burger. It did NOT disappoint. Char-grilled and delicious. This burger was a half pound, nicely seasoned, fresh, and tasty. It's calling my name as we speak, lol.
I suggest you give this place a try. The burger is no joke! Also, on another note, I love their strawberry lemonade. It has strawberry puree in it. It paired so well with my delicious burger.“

“This is the ultimate "Cheers" bar on the Northwest side of the STL. Cheers in the sense that patrons are friendly, and so is management. You feel safe, comfortable, and welcome. “I googled best wings in my area, and this place did not disappoint. While I miss the good Ole days of $.50 and $1 wings and was reluctant to spend $17.99 for 10, those things were huge and delicious! I added a basket of fries and almost couldn't finish them both. I'll be back!

Kid-friendliness: I feel comfortable bringing my 6-year-old son here. They have a couple of claw machine games and plenty of t.v.s. I'm sure they could throw some SpongeBob on one.“

That's me with Reggie "JC" Brooks of St.Louis, and the guy behind J.C. Supper Club not far from here. We engaged inside my favorite St.Louis bakery on The Hill. We chatted at the counter as we waited to have our orders rung up by Sharon, another delightful human being. 🥰 Great conversation, and JC proudly told me about his son getting accepted at a local private school for his academic and sports achievements. JC was beaming. Proud Dad. We shared our concerns for the world as it is now, and how we just want everyone to live their best lives. Short conversation, lifetime memory. JC invited me to stop at "J.C. Supper Club" the next time I am in town. We parted, and he said, "Come by, I'll remember you." I know, and I'll remember him, too. “T is a wonderful and attentive bar tender. She greeted myself and my crew upon arriving, and she made sure that we were good throughout our visit. She was very nice and cool and her knowledge of drinks and the food menu was great. She has a wonderful spirit and she made our time at the bistro a blast. The food was wonderful and the venue itself was very clean and well kept. The food is consistently good, which is a plus and I always have such a good time when I come.“

“We went to Syberg's yesterday ... always our spot to meet up with our son and his girlfriend. Service was great, food was delicious..... and the lobster mac was AMAZING! Full of chunks of lobster! Syberg's on Dorsett is one of our favorites! We drive almost two hours to eat there 🙂“

“Wife and I decided to hit the easy button after walking nine holes and grab lunch at Ruthie’s. Had been years since I’d eaten there, and certainly delivered! Sat on the patio overlooking the 9th hole, and bartender came to take our drink and food orders. Had the 2nd Shift Brooligan, which was a great IPA. We split a toasted ravioli app and the Crush Burger. Ravs we’re good, burger was absolute fire. Fries were hot and crispy, the way they should be!

Vegetarian options: They have a Black bean burger for the veggie in your life.“

“2nd time here, both times my wife & I were very happy with the meal, service, & atmosphere.
The only odd thing I can say about Trueman’s is if you order a burger (which was good by the way) you will be charged an extra .49cents for a slice of onion! You can get lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard & ketchup for free but if you want an onion that will be 49cents ( weird).
The owner can do whatever they want but it’s a strange charge! I like this place & will be back.“

However, they are soon to redeem that with a new menu just days away. Meanwhile do not get the fried goat chese medallions and assume there is ANY meat like we did by the name 'medallions' [really our mistake bc no where on that expensive appetizer 'medalion' listing did it say beef anything !
The waitress we had seemed rushed like she had too many tables to attend to. Terrace seating was nice overall a little pricey for quality.“

“A great little Irish Pub. Bar tender is always friendly and fun! The crowd is diverse as well as the music. Taking turns and everyone pitching in it makes for a wonderful evening. Darts, pool tables, and even a little spot to slip of and dance if you'd like. Clean bathrooms!“

“I have not noticed racial tensions there. (Any more than you might find anywhere in the StL)....There is a woman that frequents the bar who has color and appears to be well regarded. It IS a North side divey joint. They don't serve any food now outside of bar room pizza...But drink and beer prices are good and if you stay away from controversial conversation you'll get along with everyone in there. Which is probably true for let's say 75% of the corner bars in St. Louis.“
