“A friend and I dined outdoors on Tuesday evening on the upper deck. We had a fabulous waitress! Laura was truly one of the best waitresses we have ever had from any restaurant! She was prompt, helpful, fun, etc and made our dinner truly memorable!“

“My godmother has Celiac disease and called the restaurant to ask about a gluten free menu. The owner went to the store after the phone call to buy some gluten free bread to have available to her. We would never expect anyone to do such a generous thing for her. Incredible service, above and beyond, not to mention stellar food.“

“Tonight a large group of children from the ages of 10 to 18 came to this location to celebrate the end of a 6 show weekend. There were about 30 kids and about 7 parents.

We were greeted with warmth and welcoming hospitality. We knew our orders were going to bombard the kitchen, and we hoped that they would not be annoyed with us. It was exactly the opposite the manager, and the staff continuously checked in with us and apologized for the long wait. But no one even noticed the wait time. Y’all had a place to sit down and connect with one another to celebrate closing night and we are super grateful.

Everyone got their food and ice cream and we left super happy. This location is so lucky to have so many hardworking teammates!“

“Visited the drive-up last evening. Bill was $14.27. Handed the young lady what I thought was a $20. And, I said, I have 25 cents, if you have 2 Pennie’s. She smiled and said, the bill is $14. Took her about 3 more very patient tries to convince me that I hadn’t given her enough money. She was pleasant and smiling thru the entire prices. Then, I drove away without picking up my order. Half-way home I made a u-turn, and returned to the restaurant. I went inside and told the 2 young men that I had forgotten to pick-up my order. They too were more than pleasant when they gave me my order. I told them the nursing home will never let me out on my own again, to which we all had a nice laugh!“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.“

“Food was GREAT! Loved the look of the place, service was awesome. Going back for lunch soon. This visit I had the burger and onion rings, I can hardly wait to try something else.“

“The food is absolutely delicious! The burgers are huge and delicious, and quite well cooked. The barbecue sauce was tangy and delicious with the Gateway Burger. I was looking forward to trying the onion rings, but ended up not having room after the burger!

Some reviews have mentioned the service - the servers are not overenthusiastic in their greetings as other restaurants, but the service is damn good. They have a very subtle style of attentiveness, not always asking if you need something but noticing when you do, keeping an eye on you. They check in at the exact points - when the food hits the table, after two bites, and when your plate is just about done. There were two servers today and they were both multitasking and on top of all their tables, and their demeanor just happens to be more casual comfort. Definitely wouldn’t dock them any service points. If you do tend to prefer more enthusiastic service, it might not be the best match, but theirs is still a service style that will get you what you need.

I’m not currently living in STL, but will definitely be returning next time I’m in the city!“
