“Got there early before our 8 o’clock reservations to have cocktails at the bar prior to seating. Unfortunately, a bunch of squatters eating pizza at the bar had the place completely packed so we had to wait in the foyer before we got seated. not sure why a place of this stature doesn’t have an appropriate cocktail pre-dinner waiting area for reservation guests instead allows perennial squatters to compromise that area. Do they really need the money that bad? Our waitress said the people that are eating at the bar are the same ones week after week after week. I recommend you go somewhere else to have cocktails before dinner. food was really , really good and we will go back but will go somewhere else for a pre-dinner cocktails and show up at reservation time. Otherwise we’ll be standing out in the foyer while squatters are at the bar. This is a common practice among the nicer restaurants in town. I will say the food was really special. we had the shrimp and scallop entree, the pizza, and the morel mushroom special. All were outstanding. Wine by the bottle pricing was appropriate. Very nice dinner for sure.“

Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared and had a good flavor.As a side note, before I make recommendations, I have an autoimmune condition called celiac disease. I am so sensitive that 20 ppm is still too high for my body's response, and even though I was aware of the possibility of cross-contamination, they went far above and beyond and took additional preventative measures to ensure my safety. Now, with that out of the way, I recommend trying the gluten-free pizzas and the bruchetta. Of course, I subbed the toast for their bag of gluten-free chips, and while the chips aren't precisely the same, the dish is still tasty. The place is small unfortunately, so doesn't seat many which is a shame because the people and service was stellar. But for the love of god fix those damn chairs!“

“We've eaten at Stefanina's in Wentzville several times, and this was our first time eating at Stefanina's in O'Fallon. Same menu, same great quality food and service. The pizza was excellent and the tutta mare pasta was very good too. “Best location of the three remaining. Highest quality food, best workers and fun atmosphere. Game room, lots of TV’s and my favorite the Panteras car and panther wall decor! A true staple of O’Fallon. 10/10 would recommend. JD, Ryan, Maia and Quinton run this place like a well oiled pizza providing machine. Without them this place would not be the same. “This is a local hole in the wall bar place, but we love it. People are very nice, decent food and drinks. We try to go every week either Tuesday or Wednesday for game night. They have something every night but we love the trivia night and music bingo. Skins/ garlic wings are good, pizza looks gooood, and salads. Friends said the rays were good, but she is more interested in the blue moon drinks ?!“

“Terrible service from EJ. He never checked to see how our food was, not once, after salad or entree. The food was okay. Parmesan would have helped maybe. We had to ask for more water. We had a gift card from our kids to use, but EJ said the internet was down and we couldn't use it. We asked for a manager, and he said he was the manager, which is really surprising considering the lack of service we received. He finally took the gift card off of our bill. He was not a good server or manager in our opinion. Bus boy was pretty good. We would not recommend this place. EJ shouldn't be serving!! We still gave him a 15% tip, which was more than deserved. “Everything was great till we paid. Our bill was $46 or so. We tip very well, $20 is our usual tip amount and it always cash. Paid the bill with card, but tip was cash. Molly said nothing, just brought the receipt back for me to sign. Didn't ask if we wanted change or anything, she just assumed that the 20 dollar bill was hers. $9.20 would have been 20%. I would have told her the 20 was for her, but she didn't ask, just assumed. You may think this is petty, however, I don't. Just my 2 cents worth, never assume.“

The drink we tried was the Grateful Dead (very tasty) it was very colorful, but don't let that fool you, it is strong, we got the Spinach Artichoke Dip (omg, it changed my life) I have never tasted such great tasting spin dip as this one in my life, and we got the Holy Shiitake pizza (mouthwatering). It was a perfect day, so they were crowded, but we worked our way around the long line. We did have to order at the counter, and you wait for your food. We only had to wait 25 minutes for ours. We just drank our beers and waited. They do not deliver to your table. When we left for the day, the wait time for a pizza was over an hour. I'm glad we arrived early.After finding a rooftop table, our guys went downstairs to order our drinks and food. We ordered 3 Octoberfest beers and 1 Hazelnut Coffee Stout beer. Good beers! We had two orders of the Garlic Cheese Bread and the wood fired Vampire Deathwish pizza. Oh my word, it was delicious. I understand why it's their number one seller. The four of us devoured the amazing pizza and garlic cheese bread. The dough was soft, covered with flavorful Vampire Deathwish sauce, and not overcooked. I do look forward to visiting again when we visit our family next.They host many events from weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, retirement parties, and conference events, or any reason to gather together. Honestly, it would make sense for dine in & carry out orders to be handled by separate staff members. Entree prices are mostly in the $20 -$30 range as are most comparable restaurants in their geography. The service is top-shelf; our server was Shawn. He was friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable of menu items, professional and willing to assist should diners want assistance. Shawn is an absolute "Pro"! The ambience is clean, open (tables not jammed against each other) and functional. It's great to not be forced to listen to another table's conversation. We used to drink a lot at her last place, Vette’s, their food was great and the service was the best. They made you feel right at home, owner always coming by to ask how we’ve been.. it was easy to be a regular there. But we’ve got a baby on the way so I let her know we weren’t drinking anymore. When we ordered a couple “nerf” beers she brought out a couple shots for us.. “I would put Donatelli's Italian food up against any in the St. Louis area....even restaurants on "The Hill" ! We have been going for years and have always had fantastic food. Also, a great piano bar with live music (check their website). You can have a gourmet lunch with a drink, salad, entree and fresh hot Italian bread for under $15. Compare that to a fastfood burger meal (yech!) for over $10. Professional, friendly wait staff. Great for special occasions or just an informal lunch/dinner.“

Fresh ingredients.Bread is good. Had 3 rounds of it, 1/3 was cold harder bread that seemed to be old.Fettucine alfredo didnt have much any flavor.
