If you are on HWY63 in Missouri traveling and you like to eat locally(like we do),then the Hometown Diner is for you!! The people are friendly and the food is amazing! Want to eat a grandma-like meal? Stop here!! It was definitely worth the stop and it is right on the hwy. Great food and lots of It. Homemade country cooking! Short staffed and our new waitress was trying but was obviously inexperienced. Big help wanted sign in the window shows that they are trying to get more help to fix the problem. This is my new place to have breakfast and I will return regularly.
