“Our first visit and wow was it great! Everything was top notch, starting with ample parking. We were seated quickly and could barely decide what we wanted to eat because everything looked so good! We got a combo platter of oysters-all of them delicious but the Orleans is our new favorite. I had the red fish and hubby had stuffed portabellas. The servings are quite large and they have unique sides options. Do yourself a favor and get the sweet potatoe crème brûlée. The most delicious thing on the menu, we ate it as our dessert! Our server Tim was absolutely the best. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Made reservations for a birthday and got there a bit early so we sat at the bar for a drink while we waited for our table. That was the best decision of the night. We ended up eating at the bar with Jamie and Watson (the bartenders). Great recommendations, great drinks, great food and great company. They are quick on their feet and very pleasant. Jamie made our birthday dinner a special one! We've been here before a few time and as always great food. Tonight was worth a review, the grouper was delicious! All around a phenomenal experience!”

“We are regulars and always enjoy it. This time we made reservations and requested a quieter corner window table. This is due to husbands PTSD as I try to help in areas possible. We arrived and there were many many empty tables next to window and away from others; however, we were seated smack in the middle table in between many others and away from the window. I did not complain as to not upset my husband and we just enjoyed the meal and left. Server was not the normal attentive servers but was ok. We will return again but ask that when your patrons make special requests during a reservation that you please accommodate them as you do not know reason why those requests are being made.”

There were several tables by windows with a view of the beach. We asked to be seated there and we couldn't because there were 5 in our party. The tables seat 4 and they couldn't add a table or chair. While we were eating without a view, another party of 5 came in and the waitress scooted a table around so they could have a view of the beach. I guess the policy must've changed in the last 15 minutes.”

“I ordered and paid for my sandwich and drink was recommended that there is seating up stairs. I took the winding stairs where there was only 1 open table and no outlet (as I needed so charge my phone) I went back down and seen 2 open table as I kindly asked the lady next to me was these seats open she said yes. The server then ask was I eating here or to go? I told her I’m dining in she then told me there are seats upstairs. I was confused so I explained to her that I’m not comfortable with the stairs and there was only 1 open table along with the fact that there was No outlet. She stated that she thinks one seat should be opening up. As they are busy on Saturdays. Keep in mind that they are not waiting tables but simply bringing your food to the table. Also the lady next to me is dining alone. So I realize I was the only Person with pigmentation in this establishment I told her I can take my food to go. I will never ever step food in this establishment again.”

The service is amazing, the owner himself checks on tables often, he even brings out samples for some dishes if we're unsure of what we want to order. I got the chicken flautas and a side of grilled shrimp. The flautas were literally fried to perfection, it was topped with green creamy salsa and cheese. Now the grilled shrimp, it was grilled with butter and some seasonings and it was some of the best grilled shrimp I've had on a LONG time. And to drink I got an agua fresca. Their options were mango, Horchata and pineapple. I couldn't decide between mango or pineapple so I mixed both and I did not regret it at all! All to say is I 100% recommend this place, it will blow your socks off ??”

I imagine they have entertainment on certain nights. They have a lot of pool tables, steel, dart boards, the atmosphere was relaxed.

“The owner was absolutely friendly and professional. I felt like I’ve known him forever. I’m from TN and had a lot questions about his catfish and he gave my man and me a catfish 101which was appreciated. The bartender who created this drink called island twist- omgggggg it was absolutely delicious and the drinks were flowing freely all night since we walked in the door. Get you a strawberry island twist & thank me later!

They also have hookah service for the patio area only since no smoking is allowed inside. The patios is absolutely amazing and if it rains it’s ok b/c it’s closed off to give an all around experience regardless of the weather.

Owner also shared that they have been in business for nearly 20 yrs on Mother’s Day if I remember correctly and his mom definitely raised and instilled greatness in this man. Family vibes for sure and the hospitality was southern-ing!! No complaints there.

You will be waiting a while for your order, but it could have been a busy night when I went during cruising the coast weekend so don’t hold that against them. That goes to show that money is flowing and food is being sold to the masses lol.

Oh and when you come to Ms Elaine’s establishment don’t dare disrespect her by repping anything other than the NOLA Saints babbbbby lol. Elaine’s is definitely the place to be and I can’t wait to visit again. All of the urban areas around the world needs an Elaine’s establishment.

Oh and the cost-It was free to get in b/c we were early and a tab for 2 was under $70 with hookah and 3 rounds of drinks and shots with 1 catfish plate. #WhoDat Ms Elaine’s that’s who!
