On top of the food, our server, Rita, was fantastic. She was so attentive. All of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees came out in a timely manner! We will be back for sure!“

“My mother, sister and I ate here while on vacation visiting family that lives locally, and I was pleased with the experience we had at Cuz's! It was extremely busy when we visited, which I don't blame them for since it seemed to be the local schools' prom night (just our luck right? ?). Our server was great, she was dealing with lots of different tables on a very busy service so she was a rockstar! The alcoholic beverages were very delicious and top notch! On the menu, it must state all the ingredients that are included in the mango salsa, because it happened to have tomatoes and my mother ordered the fish tacos with the mango salsa not knowing it contained tomato (mango salsa almost never commonly includes tomato) and thus was unable to eat her food after waiting over an hour for it. This was partially our fault for not asking, so I don't fault them in any way for that; tomato is not a common allergy and we should have been more vigilant. Overall, I loved our experience here and I would love to try it out again when it's not quite so busy!“

“Very casual beach bar right by the tracks. Great views, be sure to find the stairs and go up too. Awesome staff and surprisingly good food. The burgers are freshly made and the garlic fries might knock your socks off. Nice beer and wine selection, fun bartender too. We'll be back!“

“Me and my family decided to go to a new place today and we saw this unique spot on Canal Street called the blue Bayou when we walked in. It was A beautiful atmosphere when we walked in and the customer service was five star I asked the server what was good on the menu and she immediately said that y’all chargrilled oysters and the alligator bites When we got the oysters, hands-down, the best I’ve had since I’ve been living in the city normally some places, the oysters still be having little shells in the oyster still and I didn’t have to worry about that with these baby I have to say they know what they are doing And the food oh my God The redfish was cooked perfect everything was delicious on my plate. I tried some of my friends Mardi Gras pasta. I will be getting it next time we come here and my mom‘s are the Poboy looked so delicious. She didn’t even want to share one oyster with me, and my dad had the chicken pasta I tasted, And that chicken was seasoned to perfect perfection but I will be back with My lady so we could go drink at the bar and then I will give a review on the drinks but overall best place I haven’t been to so far“

“Fantastic. Energy and atmosphere is awesome. Service is outstanding and everything we ordered was spot on and “lights out”. A do not miss when in the Bay. Blue cheese meatballs were very tasty. Gris Gris oysters were spectacular. Crab swimmers were great and we got tuna special of the day, which didn’t disappoint. If I lived in the Gulf Coast, Fields would Be my “go to”.“

“Delicious!!! Ate there today & everything was fabulous!! I'm not a big fan of Mexican because of Cilantro (I'm one of those that it taste like soap to) & usually stick to taco salad or fajitas. Today I had a combo meal that the only problem with it was I couldn't eat it all in one sitting (and I wanted to & did bring my leftovers home-a 1st again)!! Miss Gina was the perfect waitress..attentive, polite, efficient & bubbly! Thank you El Maguey for a wonderful experience!! I will be back!!“
