“Stopped by for a cold one after seeing their sign on the highway. Had a great discussion with the owner and locals. Their canine mascot "Go Home" just passed after 15 years and they were celebrating his life. Amazing story- this place has been re-built three times due to the hurricanes. Katrine wiped them out but with their amazing will - they rebuilt again to open in 2008. A must stop - enjoy the southern hospitality and give support to this cool and unique place.“
“Was hungry for crawfish so I decided to give this place a try. One step in with my 2 year old son and husband make me immediately back out of the restaurant. Just interior design made me cringe, it didn't feel safe to bring my son, not a server in sight, not very family friendly or warm inviting.“
“We absolutely love this place. When we go to visit the area, The Ugly Pirate is on the agenda! The outside area has plenty of seating. The decor inside is super funky. The staff has always been kind every time we go. And the pizza is delicious! They have multiple beers on tap, as well as hard ciders and a couple kinds of seltzers.“
