She knew exactly what to suggest for us and the food was brought to us very promptly !!!!! And was so very good !Also the manager is a wonderful guy with a personality that will draw u in!!! “The restaurant is very cozy. Yia Yia and Papou always come out of the kitchen and greet their guests. They truly treat you like family. I came alone today. Usually come here with my husband. I started with a cup of soup of the day, had the roasted chicken with lemon potatoes as entree, and finished with a slice of lemoncello cake with coffee. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 yrs. Dined all of this wonderful country. Yia Yai’s has become one of my top 5 places to dine. Service is impeccable and the cuisine is so authentic and on point. It’s cold outside so it was a hard decision to make over choosing the roasted chicken or the Moussaka that has a hint of cinnamon in the sauce. Sat in the back booth and throughly enjoyed my lunch. Thank you to all the staff at Yia Yia’s for bringing such an incredible environment to the Flowood area!”

Called to let Rose know and she was nice and offered for us to either come back to grab after closing time or credit for the next visit. We're closer to the Flowood location, so we chose the credit. Pasta was filled with crawfish and shrimp. My husband enjoyed the boil bag. He said the lemon pepper sauce was good!”

“I placed an order through the app and had to wait 20 minutes in the drive through just for them to not be able to find my order even though it showed that I was at the right location and my order had went through. Despite that Terry who was working the window was extremely nice and made sure we got our order. Major shout out to him because they obviously had a big rush going on and were very busy. He could have been upset/rude/not filled our order but instead he was very kind and made it right for us. Instead of feeling like we never want to come back to this location because of the long wait and our order being messed up we definitely will be coming back.”

“We showed up tonight with 9 middle school girls, and three adults, and there was only one young man working. He was so wonderful and worked very quickly preparing all of our orders. The drive-through was really busy the whole time that we were there. He had the best attitude, and never seemed overwhelmed, or frustrated. I hope he is recognized for his excellent customer service and excellent work ethic.”

“This is a great place and as is often the case, it was packed with hungry diners today. However, it didn't take long at all to get seated and get our food as they are accustomed to many people coming to the restaurant. The food is always wonderful, the owners are great people, and the customers are smiling from the atmosphere and having full and satisfied stomachs! By the way, I had the Philly Steak PoBoy and tater tots which I can highly recommend, but all the food is hot and delicious!”

“Panchos Cantina in Brandon deserves all the hype and then some. We stopped in for dinner and were blown away from the moment the food hit the table. The carnitas came out sizzling on a cast-iron skillet piled high with tender, juicy pork and sweet grilled onions. It was the kind of portion that makes you stop and stare for a second before digging in. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly, this might be my new go-to carnitas spot in Mississippi.

The sides were just as delicious. The rice was seasoned perfectly, the refried beans were creamy with that melted cheese on top, and the fresh lettuce, pico, sour cream, and guacamole rounded everything out. Even the grilled jalapeños were incredible. Everything tasted homemade and came out piping hot.

We also tried the street-style tacos, and those didn’t disappoint either. Packed with meat and onions and served with beans, rice, and sauces, they were a whole meal on their own. Generous portions all around, and everything looked as good as it tasted.

On top of the food, Panchos had live music going, which gave the whole place such a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, great music, and friendly service. It felt like the kind of night out you want to repeat.

They are easily accessible, prompt, and the staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s not that fake “I have to be friendly because it’s my job”, they give off that genuine friendly energy that you don’t find in most places! They open earlier than any of the other tea shops in town and that is so convenient for those of us that have to be at work a little earlier than others! I usually don’t even leave reviews but I had to in this case! So glad to have 471 Nutrition in town!!”

The owner was happy to accommodate me, helping me customize my drinks, keeping them true to my very strict dietary guidelines. The employees are cheerful and polite. It's a cute shop with some seating available for those who like to cafe chat and relax.”

“Ive been going to this place since I was little, would go every Sunday before Sunday school / Church with my Grandma and this is hands down still my favorite places to go to. While the bakers (the older couple) dont do a whole lot of interacting with customers, they are still very kind, and for the cashier, he is very chill and relatable. I love the different colored donuts and their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit.”

If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!”

Well, I circled the building and made sure I got in the drive thru line with a customer in front of me having mobile app issues that should have been in the mobile line. The same attendant that told me to circle the building came from the mobile line and took the order of the customer. Once that attendant was done with that customer I questioned the fact why my order couldn’t be taken from the mobile line when I was in it like you came over to the drive thru line with that customer that was having mobile issues? It was unacceptable. That’s all I have folks.”

“I have been a customer of Cafe Azteca since they were located in the back of Overby’s Antiques. So after that building burned and they relocated I have continued to come. I moved away for 17 years but upon moving back I went back for a visit. Food is still awesome. Up in price from the early 90’s, but what isn’t ? Their salsa and chips are the best I have ever had and hands down the best Mexican food in the Jackson Metroplex. When my job brings me this way I always go for take out !”

“This place is FANTASTIC! From the time we walked thru the door we felt welcome. We stayed 3 nights in the cabins. The rooms were cozy and very quiet. Scenery was amazing from the porch of the cabin. We also ate the buffet. We read the reviews before we visited. DO NOT TAKE THE BAD REVIEWS TO HEART. The buffet was great. Everything was fresh and we ate at 1pm. The Tap Room's drinks, food and atmosphere was top notch. Steakhouse was amazing for a nice couples night out. The staff is phenomenal! All of them are so friendly and accommodating. We never needed to ask for anything during our stay. We also did the Safari. Couple tips.... Rent the Jeep. If you feed the animals I cannot stress this enough. It is a better option for your car and it is only 25.00 an hour. You can drive thru as many times as you like in that hour. We got around 2 times. Second...get the 5 gallon bucket of feed. It is 24.00 and worth every penny! The animals eat a lot so get a lot of food. To sum it up. McClain Lodge is hands down a must do in the Brandon area.”

“I have not had McDonald's in a good while, but this was on the way home and decided to stop. I have to tell you it didn't disappoint. Everything from the customer service to the ease of ordering and the food itself was amazing.

The fries were hot, fresh and delicious--making the meal something I really enjoyed. The quarter pounder with bacon could not have been better.

Like I said, I have not been to McDonald's in quite some time, but this meal made me want to make plans to return again soon.”

So by not going in and *making your order* it will not be to your standard. Yes, I order a bowl and order inside through the line which contributes to more control over the meal being made. But also, it’s been high schoolers working every time I visit here. As someone who was once a high schooler working in the food industry, it’s not pretty 😂 some of us are just starting to learn how to prepare any type of food, ESPECIALLY to the standard ✨other✨ people have. Yes the drive thru is convenient but at that point, you’re leaving your meal up to high schoolers and that’s just that 🤷🏼‍♀️ So to my hometown moes, you’ve never let me down and no staff has ever been rude, they’ve always been so courteous!”
