The food is great, servers are pleasant and make sure you're topped off, and the owner is friendly and genuinely cares about your experience. “Really wanted to give a 5 star review!! Food was awesome!! Came in for lunch, seated and greeted immediately. Place was very clean and nice. Maybe the best tasting Mexican food I have ever eaten. They lost 1 star because no liquor, which meant no margarita. I will definitely be back.“
“This place was great! I had dined in before but got take out to test consistency and both the staff and food are still worth every bit of 5 stars. The food is of course hot and fresh, the salsa was fantastic with the right amount of heat and flavor, and the wait time was minimal. Would definitely recommend trying this place out?“
“Anytime I am within 40 miles of this place I have to visit. The best Mexican I have had in years. Everything is tasty and well seasoned, the staff is focused on exceeding your expectations. This is my favorite Memphis spot for good affordable food that is gluten free. The machete is out of this world and enough for two people.You owe it to yourself to stop in and try. I am sure you will become a regular. I love in Florida but wish was my state.“
“My companion and I recently received carefully prepared food and beverages here during a late afternoon meal. Our car mechanic had previously recommended the place. The exterior doesn't look like much, but inside it's nice, comfortable, and casual. If you're in the area, this joint is worth a stop. In fact, this was our second visit because the first time was so good. I wasn't too impressed with the puddle of water from a leak in the men's restroom, however.“
“Just got a to-go order and it won't be the last. This is a small place next to a gas station, so it may not grab your eye, but it's worth your time, definitely. The menu is straightforward with plenty of options, including a la carte tacos with plenty of meats to choose from. Pricing is pretty consistent to boot and my 3 tacos were well worth the $9 plus tax given both how good they were and how generous the servings of grilled veggies were while still having a good amount of meat on each. I was given 3 salsas, and all three were delicious, with the hottest of the three having a flavorful heat that is potent but hardly overwhelming. Everyone I spoke to was polite and my order was ready quickly as well, so the service gets a thumbs up. Also, corn tortillas are the default here, which is always welcome, at least in my book. I may not go there every single day, but if I have a hankering for tacos especially, I've got a new go to place. Being close to work and home is also a plus for me. Do yourself a favor and swing by, especially if you want some good corn tortilla tacos.“
“We tried this while we were in the area from Michigan and it was definitely worth the 20 minute walk from our hotel. The staff is great. The homemade icecream is the best we've had. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.“
“Food was good!!! Fast service. Amazing drinks!***UPDATE AUGUST 6, 2023****Food was not good and had no season in my chicken and steak fajitas. My tortillas were burnt, and I had to ask for more. The dip was good, and the Bob Marley top shelf was good ❤️?? Don't waste your time with the fajitas unless you're bringing your own seasoning for the meat. Also, my appetizer dip came to the table AFTER the food was out.“
