“So it's been 7 years since my last review and this is still my favorite place to eat in Oakland. It's always fresh, always hot, always tasty!Here's what I'd recommend: XL Burrito, add cheese dip; Lamb Tacos; Carnitas Tacos; Street Rice; Street Corn; Tamales, add cheese sauce or salsa; Aqua Fresca to drink, the melon or pineapple are my favorites if pulp bothers you, get something else. My wife would add Volcano Tacos to this list. The staff is always nice and the restaurant is always clean. The price doesn't concern me as it's no more expensive than any other restaurant with this quality of food!“

“Definitely wish we had ordered from here sooner. We had steak and cheese subs that were gone in seconds and followed up with the mexican pizza. Everything was delicious and the lady at the counter was so nice. The salsas had good flavor and spice. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu. Thank you!“
“Great evening for Cinco de Mayo. Ordered the fajita nachos made with chicken. Starts with a layer of chips, layered with grilled onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and fajita chicken. Topped with cheese dip. Always a great dish. Top shelf margarita was perfect. Will definitely go again.“
“Service was great. It's a small place. We seated ourselves after the staff acknowledged us. We had salsa and chips quickly. Cheese dip was good. Guacamole is smooth which I like. I don't want a crunchy onion or tomato pieces in mine. And the shredded beef chimichangas were tasty. Overall great experience. Will definitely stop again on our travels to and from Memphis.“
“I've never in my 28 yrs of life ate my tortilla chips the way this place does theirs. Literally worth every minute I had to drive back to the hotel. This is in Oakland and the room is about 14 mins frm here!! It's so good it'll make you wanna slap your granny!“
