“Two Rivers is my top 3 favorite places to get a great meal with great service. Christian is the best server in Jackson metro, hand down! The only thing this place could do better is maybe change the carpet and the decor some, just to make it a little more modern. But at the end of the day, if they don't change a thing that's fine with me. Heck, they could bring in card tables and fold up chairs as far as I'm concerned! As long as the quality of food and service stay the way they are now, my family and I will be eating there for life!”

“Hey April, I was trying to find your restaurant on Social Media so I could do a review!!!!! Let me tell you, CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU sweetheart!!!!!! Bc the food was DELECTABLE!!! I’m not a “collard green” type girl, but April, they were to die for… I always thought “Char”, or “Half Shell”, had the best “Sweet mashed casserole”, sorry… yours was top tier!!! So my main entree was the”TURKEY WINGS”, which came with 2, of course I had to save one for the next day because it was more than enough…. the mini cornbread 🤏🏾!! Literally everything was AMAZING!!! I rate everything an 11!!!!!! Congratulations again, I will return!!! Oh one other thing I was expecting some “sweet tea”!”

“The name of this restaurant isJ's Kitchen.....New South restaurant has been gone from this location for more than a year.When you go to J's Kitchen you receive excellent customer service, well seasoned food (although sometimes there is more salt on the food than I prefer), well cooked food and short wait times.There is not really any room inside for dining in (almost exclusively a takeout joint) but I think they will make a place for you to dine in should you choose to do so.Remember, this restaurant is calledJ's Kitchen and TOTALLY different ownership than New South.New South has been gone from this location for more than a year.”

“When you walk in this place, your eye goes straight to the bold bright colors and beautiful artwork all around. I was shocked to see that every single wooden chair had been hand painted to look like a real life scene out of Mexico. Their attention to detail is incredible. The waiter was very attentive, kind and quick! We ordered drinks,(Bloody Mary) and they got to our table immediately. The drinks were great. A little on the sweet side for me but it really was delicious. The food was amazing. We got the special for two and it was awesome!!! I would highly recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone!!”

“I am 68, and ribs have been one of my favorite foods all of my adult life. I rarely write reviews online, but I am compelled to recommend Down South BBQ & Burgers. Their ribs are the best I have ever had: almost (almost is the key) fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. Try them dry first, but they have a selection of delicious sauces, too. Down South also has delicious chicken, brisket, and wings in addition to burgers and a wide selection of side dishes. The folks are friendly and well organized and offer a simple, immaculately clean dining area if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Down South, I encourage you to do so!”

“The food is exceptionally good. I'm from Chicago amd when I visit MS i have to get the country fried chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Hot, fresh and speedily ready. I cant thank them enough. Perhaps one day the suburbs of Chicago will get one of these restaurants.”
