“Our first visit and wow was it great! Everything was top notch, starting with ample parking. We were seated quickly and could barely decide what we wanted to eat because everything looked so good! We got a combo platter of oysters-all of them delicious but the Orleans is our new favorite. I had the red fish and hubby had stuffed portabellas. The servings are quite large and they have unique sides options. Do yourself a favor and get the sweet potatoe crème brûlée. The most delicious thing on the menu, we ate it as our dessert! Our server Tim was absolutely the best. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Water view. Excellent atmosphere. We choose to sit at a table outside on the front porch. They were out of Redfish and didn't tell us until we were ready to order it. The tuna steak was not on the lunch menu. Settled for the special of the day. That was disappointing to not be able to order what I wanted. Food was ok. Probably should have gone with the blackened Redfish even with substituted fish. Overall experience was just ok. Would give it another shot based on location, view & atmosphere”

“My husband and I found White Cap on our honeymoon in April of this year. The food was outstanding, as well as the service (Tracie rocks!). We came back to Biloxi bring my mother in law to the casinos, and my sister in law who has cerebral palsy. It was their second time ever going to the beach, so we ask to sit in the outdoor seating area to look at the beach and feel the breeze. The owner himself helped seat us in the outdoor area even though the section was closed, held doors for us to get my sister around in her wheelchair, and was extremely kind. It’s not often that places are that kind and accommodating of disabled people, and it meant the world to us! Aside from the fabulous care for their customers, the food is absolute top notch. If you go by, do not miss out on the chargrilled oysters!”

“I wish I could give more stars than 5 stars. My wife and I had one of our best experiences ever. We both ordered the Prime Rib and it was mouth watering. But that's not all, the service we had was also the best. My wife is deathly allergic to mushrooms. Our waitress (Jamie) and the assistant manager (Oscar), both went out of their way to make sure her dinner was made without mushrooms. You don't realize how many things are made with mushrooms. They even surprised us with a upside down pineapple cake with bacon and mapple whip cream. (Man was it good.)They made our anniversary dinner perfect! Thank you Jamie and Oscar! We live over a hour away but we will drive back to eat with them again!

“Absolutely incredible spot that feels and tastes like you’re right back on the island.

I had the Jerk Chicken with yellow rice, cabbage, and plantains, and my girlfriend got the Curry Chicken with rice & beans, mixed veggies, and plantains. Both plates were straight-up authentic. The jerk had that perfect smoky spice with just the right heat and had that perfect char, and the curry tasted like it came straight out of a Jamaican home kitchen. Everything was seasoned perfectly, nothing watered down, nothing “Americanized.” I wanted authentic and I am glad we stopped here.

You can tell this place cooks with real love and island soul. Even the plantains were done right; soft, caramelized, and slightly crisp on the edges. The yellow rice had that deep flavor that soaks up every bit of the sauce layered on it.

And I have to mention the woman who helped us was an absolute sweetheart. She made us feel like family the second we walked in. She was disappointed I live so far away and would be back regularly, but I sure wish I could be because she told me about their great weekday lunch specials! You just don’t get that kind of warmth and authenticity in many restaurants anymore.

This isn’t a chain. This isn’t some watered-down version of Caribbean food. This is real Jamaican comfort food, the kind that reminds you why small local spots like this are worth the drive.

Without me asking, he volunteered to take my carry out order to my car. After getting in my car, I noticed I had not picked up any salsa and started by in. He noticed, came outside to see what’s wrong, brought out the salsa. Terrific customer service! And the taco salad was good. C D.”

My team lost the game and they all came out of the woodwork asking me if I got their shot/beer. I got hammered and had a $20 tab. Good people. Only issue is no food and quite smoky.”
