“Absolutely amazing. We went through New Orleans in hopes of finding a good meal however it was so busy we couldn't find parking. So on our way out we searched Slidell LA to see if we could find some good food. I am so extremely I couldn't find a place to park because Jazzy pets PO-Boys is definitely on my top 5 list. I've traveled all over the USA and I would take a trip back to Slidell LA just to eat here again. You have to try the red beans and rice.”

“Turtle Landing has all the comforts of Southern charm. The servers are friendly, the patrons are welcoming, the food smelled wonderful although we were there for drinks only. You can walk out to the deck and enjoy the Bayou and check out their live entertainment times. You can also use their boat dock if coming in on a canoe, kayak, or other boat. They have a rather busy pool table, so you may have to wait awhile for your turn, no worries, as there are plenty of new friends to be made and to talk to. We had a very enjoyable time! Excellent Fun atmosphere in an extremely nostalgic quaint setting.”

“I've tried Pho a handful of times and always thought it was ok. It wasn't until my wife and I decided to go to Pho Bistro for a Tuesday lunch date and it completely changed my mind. We ordered the #14 Pho Tai Nam and it was absolutely delicious! The Pho came out hot and with the freshest of Ingredients. We also ordered the #54 Com Bo Luc Lac. It was a stir fried steak and onions served with steamed rice. It was fantastic! Our waitress was great. She was very polite and attentive. She recommended the #54 and we ran with it. Her recommendation did not disappoint!I highly recommend Pho Bistro. If you're in Slidell or passing through the area it is most certainly a top contender and a must try. Stop in and have a seat, you won't be disappointed.”

“I am a BIG fan of Best Nutrition in Slidell.My wife was the one that discovered this little gem and recommended that I give them a try.I've visited about 4 or 5 times now. I've tried several of the loaded teas and have found my flavor. The Maui Wowie is great. Huge menu to select from.Customer service here is A1. Always greeted with a smile and positive attitude. The two young ladies behind the counter are consistent and keep the line moving.The atmosphere here is my favorite. Even if it's only for 5 minutes, I feel good just stepping into this location. SUPER clean, smells great, smiling faces, music playing in the background. My daughter loves it and likes to hangout in the little corner. We play a couple games of tic tac toe and Ms. Pac-Man.Best Nutrition gets an A+ in my book.”

“Really good food here! I highly recommend the sweet potatoes fries as they are cooked excellently and expertly seasoned. House made chips are good as well and seasoned nicely - just a heads up - I was expecting house made chips to be thicker slices of potato and these are very thin. Not a complaint in any way, just a heads up because I wasn't expecting it and you may not either. It was very loud inside, and especially loud when we first walked in, I think someone was in a life and death hand to hand combat match with an ice machine or something because none of us could hear a thing that any of us at our table was saying. I guess our hero eventually vanquished the ice machine as the sounds of martial hostilities finally ceased but it was still somewhat loud inside. Oh, another heads up - the put Mayo on the pulled pork bbq sammich. That was definitely unexpected. I'm not talking an Alabama Mayo based bbq sauce, I'm talking a dollop of Duke's on the sammich along with bbq sauce and pickles. We had four in our party but only were given 3 sets of silverware and napkins and had to ask for another but they got taken care of. Definitely recommend this place!”

“I mean, it's not a restaurant, it's a coffee house, if you please. However, to call it a coffee house to be thrown into the mix as any coffee house, is just absurd. This is a New Orleans Coffee House Baby. Rich flavors, sweet treats, and real good eats other than just deserts. Starbucks??? PLEASE...I just said this is a New Orleans Coffee House, Baby! Ya heard me!”

“Stopped here after a boat tour nearby and it was perfect. Great pizza and drinks at a very affordable price! Sat outside and enjoyed, and the manager Pam was the sweetest. Highly recommend for an easy going lunch ”

“VFW Post 3804 is the best hangout in town! I have heard stories about the "old days", but it has calmed down a lot since then. There is no liquor, but the beer is ice cold. There are plenty of things to do, like shoot pool and attend the no cover charge band nights. Post 3804 hosts benefits for those in need and serves free food at least once or twice a week. The ages of the patrons vary from young to old, which helps keep things leveled and calm. It is a wonderful environment that anyone can come enjoy, whether you are a club member or not! Civilians are ALWAYS welcome at VFW Post 3804!”

“SMOOTHIE KING ADVENTURES! In light of my last review on Smoothie King in Town Center Bagel (my beautiful sweet puppy) and I chose avoid that one completely and visit the Smoothie King on East Gause in Slidell instead. Of course Bagel was his usual self (barking like a maniac) as I placed my order in the drive thru. Surprisingly, the cashiers maintained their calm and provided me with a smooth, professional ordering experience. Upon arrival to the pickup window, Bagel and I were greeted by a well mannered young woman who engaged me in conversation about Bagel. She then offered to give him a wonderful cool pup treat in a small plastic cup on this hot April day. Bagel's face fit so perfectly in the container and kept quiet all the way home (pup cup wasted!). I must say that this experience was amazing and the Smoothie and chocolates tasted GREAT! Thank you!”

“First, the food was really good, the people working were ok. The big issue is when you order in line for a pick up and you get the time to be there, things should work. First, the tal I'm here button so they can bring it the did, didn't work, so I went inside. ( That really didn't bother me too much, just wanted you to know). Now, the big issue is when you order in line and it tells you a time to be there and it will be ready, needs to be close to correct!! Not arrive on time then go inside and wait another 20 minutes before the food comes out. There were several other waiting as well. Now, the staff was busy and working hard, this is not this fault, it is the fault of the on line ordering system that needs reset to be closer to the flow of business at the time you order. This needs fixed very quickly to be a lot more accurate”

“Today was our first time there and we really enjoyed our dinner. Not only was the food good it was more than we could eat. To top it off the servers were friendly and did a good job. I could have made a meal out of an order of egg rolls, fried wonton and shrimp fried rice alone! Look forward to going back soon.”

“The drive through line backed up into the street. That forced me to exit in the opposite direction I needed to.Parking: The parking lot is small but there is a lot for the rest of the shopping center next door.”

“Workers are older and patient. Answer any questions I have and will correct order if anything was incorrect. I just usually have food that's pretty cold would be my only concern at this location. Convenient location for late night food runs with only McDonald's in immediate area that's not always open late.”

“Our biggest complaint besides the outrageous pricing is that most of the ordering stalls are out of order. They don’t have them marked so ya have to pull in and out to find one that works. Staff is pleasent but I feel they are not happy there. Fast food in general took a huge hit during Covid. Praying that pricing will stabilize because 7$ for a small garlic burger is ridiculous. And I love them. So it’s almost like going to a sit down restaurant without the booze lol. I’ll continue to support Sonic but please fix those stations. Thanks and Happy New Year.”
