“In Biloxi for a day after seeing my son off at Keesler. I asked a local shop owner where can we get some authentic cajun food that we can’t get in Texas and were directed here. We immediately met Christie, our server, who herself is part of the Parrain’s experience and taught me the correct pronunciation of Boudin ? I ordered the swamp tray which is a sampler of gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee and red beans and rice. Hands down the best Cajun culinary experience I could’ve hoped to have. We also had the Boudin balls and bread pudding with beignets (holy smokes.) The owner Marlen along with Christie are wonderful people. Do yourself a favor and experience Parrain’s and also read all these wonderful reviews…there are many!”

“Went to Rosita’s today for the first time and man was it delicious. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. Even had enough leftovers to fill me up for dinner. Also got to meet one of the beautiful ducks on the patio named Sandy. “I wish every town had a coffee shop like this. Comfortable, casual, great coffee, and plenty of seats inside and out. Music isn’t too loud so you can have a conversation without yelling, or read the local free newspapers in peace. Outside patio is dog-friendly. And I didn’t have to explain what a “dry” cappuccino is to the barista either. He made them just right too!”

“Had a great experience there this past Saturday. Everything was good, sat outside. When we left mywife forgot her purse. Monday i called, they had her purse and I drove down and picked it up on Tuesday. Everything, including cash, was all there. Gabby was a wonderful waitress and took good care of the lost item for us. Thank all the staff at Lady May for their attention and honesty. We'll be back!”

“Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!”

We got our usual crawfish platter and also decided to try one of their seafood boil bags. The royal reds melt in your mouth and the crab was perfect.
