Food was very good
This is a great local steakhouse. They are a little pricey on the steaks, but they were delicious and cooked perfectly. My sons had the chicken and they said it was great! I'm glad we tried them out while we were staying in Meridian. Kiki was a great server, very kind and attentive. Thank you
Food was very delicious, customer service outstanding.
Diamond Jim's and Mrs. Donna's Steak House, formerly known as The Old Farm Beef House, offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers found the meals to be disappointing, with tough chicken and overcooked hamburger steak, others had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy, and some found the presentation of food with glass plates and Styrofoam cups to be tacky. However, those who enjoyed their meals raved about the perfectly cooked ribeye and fried catfish. The attentive service and the owner's personal check-ins added to the positive experience for many diners. The restaurant is a great local steakhouse, with some prices being a bit high for the quality, but the delicious ribeye and welcoming atmosphere make Diamond Jim's and Mrs. Donna's Steak House a worthwhile dining destination for those willing to give it a try. Recent reviews highlight that the steaks are cooked perfectly, and the staff, like Kiki and Megan, are very kind and attentive. The salad bar is generally clean and tasteful, and service is timely, especially during special occasions like birthday dinners. Some customers, however, found the salad bar lacking and experienced issues with food quality, such as fried mushrooms coming in little pieces and the ribeye not being as aged as advertised. Overall, the restaurant offers a mix of good and average experiences, but the friendly staff and well-cooked steaks make it a popular choice for local diners.
