“The luck of our original plans being canceled brought us to this amazing place! The food, service, staff, friendly customers,views and amenities were all amazing! Stayed 3 nights in the RV park and I believe we ate there 5 times. Mississippi Bomb (Philly with fried shrimp on top), Creola’s Cajun Pasta, Shrimp Tacos, Grouper Bites, Gumbo, onion rings, fries and let’s not forget the Grilled Oysters on the half shell at the attached Oyster Bar beside the restaurant. Both overlooking the bayou and marina. These are just the amazing things we ate in the three days we were there. Thank you Frankie and staff!“

It's not large, and it's not fancy, but Faye's packs a wallop in what's important. Where else in the world would you be invited to try a sample plate of offerings before ordering? And what about size? The full meal must weigh ten pounds, and it's good. The chicken is good, the sides are good, and everything is home-made. This place is a must stop. We had the privilege of talking with Faye while we dined. She is a lovely person and a perfect example of what's right in this world. . . that is, a hard-working woman making sure what she does in her restaurant is top-notch. She's up at 3 am, begins work at 4 am, stays on until closing at 5 or 6 pm. OK, that's what you need to know. Now get up and get moving to Faye's!“

“Hadn't been to this location before, but decided to try it as I enjoy my local Ruby Tuesdays. The salad bar was good! Everything looked fresh and tasty. The waitress Trinity was very attentive and talked me into a strawberry lemonade and it was very good and not overly sweet. I don't like overly sweet drinks, and usually end up getting water. Nice change for such a hot afternoon. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area“
