“This is my first Google Review so bear with me.
I had a houseguest and we were looking for an easy breakfast. Waffle House down the street had a line out the door so we just searched for “Breakfast Near Me”. Y’all.
We roll up at 8:30 on a Sunday morning and there’s only one other table of patrons in this clean restaurant with pleasant Hispanic music playing in the background. Really nice atmosphere. Normally you hit a place like this for the authentic food and hold your nose on the dining atmosphere. Not the case here. The chairs and tables were clean and comfortable. The folks running the place were happy we were there and made us gringos feel welcome.
There’s an add on bar in the corner with three types of salsas and roasted Jalepeno’s and pickled onion. All that dressed up my Juevos Rancheros nicely. My friend had a Cuban sandwich that came with crinkle cut fries that were good and crispy.“

“All around great restaurant, had a blast! Each table has its own seasoning shaker for the chips which I very much appreciate. The fajitas were off the hook and the waitstaff were very attentive and fast as lightning! If they opened up for breakfast I’d come in for that too.“

“If Zeus ever threw down his thunderbolt and swapped it for a taco, it would definitely be a Taco de Birria. These tacos are so good, they could bring world peace. I took one bite and suddenly forgot all my life problems—student loans? Gone. Taxes? Who cares! All I needed was more tacos.
The birria is so tender, it's like they marinated it in unicorn tears and cooked it over the flames of a thousand phoenixes. The consomé? Oh, that’s the nectar of the taco gods. Dunk your taco in it, and you might as well be diving into a pool of pure bliss.
These tacos are the reason I wake up in the morning. They should come with a warning label: "May cause spontaneous dancing, excessive joy, and the uncontrollable urge to shout '¡Viva la Birria!' in public."
In conclusion, if you haven’t tried Tacos de Birria yet, your life is incomplete. Go now, and prepare to have your taste buds serenaded by the Mariachi band of flavor. 5 stars, because there aren’t enough stars in the universe to truly capture how amazing these are. ?“

“Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.“

“My husband and I came from Memphis Tennessee to a dogshow in Jackson MS. We ran errands and Sante Fe Grill popped up. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I told my hubby I hadn’t had the great of food in Memphis. Very much worth it!“

“Best Mexican food in Mississippi.
The food did not taste like white people were cooking Mexican food, it was very flavorful!
The seasoning was absolutely amazing!
I’ve been to a bunch of places since I’ve moved here from Texas and this is the first one that I fell in love with. I highly recommend!“

“I want to try everything on the menu now!! I ordered the chicken soup through the uber app and it was so flavorful. Side note if they bottle that salsa I'm buying a case to pour over everything“

“La Morena is a great family-owned spot in Ridgeland. I had the Carne Asada tacos with cilantro and onions, and they were fresh and flavorful. The horchata was really refreshing, and I finished with the strawberry tres leches cake which was a nice sweet ending.
They also brought out a basket of crunchy chicharrón-style snacks to start. Good food, friendly atmosphere, and definitely worth a visit.
Big thanks to Giselle and her family for the phenomenal service!“
