“I haven't eaten anything there yet because my wife is vegan and pretty picky about ingredients, but we frequently drink coffee here. We've tried quite a few places in Starkville and it's our fav. The staff is super nice and I love how they know me by name and memorized my order - they see me walk in and grab my order before I say anything 😂. They're a pretty young crowd so I think it's cool that they employ a bunch of the college kids. It makes how they make your coffee fluctuate depending on shifts - but our ☕ has always been great. I'm not hard to please, but my vanilla, caramel oat milk latte and my wife's Lebby is a creamy delight 😎“

“Service was fast, friendly, and accurate. The partner that took my order was apparently finishing their shift and took my order just before clocking out. The rest of the team was occupied and when many people would have just clocked out and gone home they helped the team and took my order. Then clocked out and went home. I appreciated them doing this as I still had an eight hour drive ahead of me. Thank you.“

“Shipley is Shipley at its best. The service was okay. There was a male worker stocking items in the side front while there were three ladies manning the drive thru window. I stood at the counter for a bit when the male worker stated he would be with me in a minute. Received my donut box and bag of donut holes, which were good. This is a hustling place early in the morning. It was recommended that I arrive early or they may be out of some flavors.“

“We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Starkville for graduation and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location alone is worth five stars — the hotel is within easy walking distance of Humphrey Coliseum, which made the whole weekend so much more convenient. No fighting traffic, no parking headaches — just a short walk and you’re there.

The room was spotless and clearly had been recently renovated. Everything felt fresh and modern, exactly what you want after a long day of celebrating. And the air conditioning worked perfectly — which, if you’ve spent any time in Mississippi in the spring, you know is not something to take for granted!

The standout of our stay was the service at the bar. Our bartender was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It added a great social element to the trip and was the perfect way to wind down after the ceremony.

Overall, the Courtyard Marriott Starkville hit every mark — great location, clean and updated rooms, excellent AC, and warm hospitality. If you’re coming to town for a Bulldog graduation or any Mississippi State event, this is the place to stay. We’ll absolutely be back. Hail State! 🐶“
