American Restaurants near Alder

“I belong to a travel group from Coeur d'Alene Idaho. We stoped had dinner there last night service was amazing it was hot and fresh. The lady who plans our tours had a hard time finding hotels that we take a large group plus restaurants that-will take a large group in this area Chicks not only provided dinner for us last night but at the last minute made fantastic bag lunches for us to travel with today. It was sandwiches and homemade cookies that had been made that day. They went out of her way to make a trip to Montana special when other places either did not have the staff to handle us or the " will" to try.“

“Had a very good breakfast in the Star - Chicken fried steak was nicely braded with a lovely cream gravy topping. Quality hashbrowns, sausage patties, sourdough toast to accompany. And a good cup-a-joe too Service and attention to coffee were excellent. Not the cheapest breakfast, but the quality was spot on. I wish the bakery was open (late week/weekend only) to try pastry but no such luck. There aren't many early breakfast choices in these little towns so I was glad to find a good one.“
