“5 pm reservation time was perfect. And we were first in line at 5 so I feel we got the absolute best view table for 2. The food was great. One had ribeye and the other salmon. My salmon was overcooked , but I failed to tell the waiter that I wanted it between med rare to medium . Wedge salad blue dressing really good. Dark by time we left so perfect for viewing the lights.“

“This is our first time in Big Sky and feeling lucky to have Chet’s walking distance to our room. The Wild Mushroom pasta was sublime and the huckleberry ice cream…save room! Hubby had the Wild Game Meatloaf and it melted in his mouth! Thank you Allie took great care of us. Highly recommend Chet’s.“

“Went for lunch the week before Christmas. Was there to visit family working on the ranch. The lunch was lovely. We had wings, truffle fries and a salad. Really everything was yummy, served hot and crispy!

The environment is historic, very comfortable and the staff super friendly.

“Scissorbills is my go to break spot on the hill. I dig the Montana dirtbag esque atmosphere, the lighting and the variety of tasty beverages. Legendary.“

“I always have a great experience at the Moonlight Tavern. I've been coming there for years when I ski Big Sky. I love the giant fireplace and large windows that make it a pleasure to dine and watch new snow fall. The wine list is very good and the food has always been solid. I had an elk steak this last time that was superb.“

“Dinner for six. Only two diners got the same item: Double Smashburgers. Both said “best burger EVER!”. A real surprise to us were the hush puppies as an appetizer. Different than what you're thinking, believe me. Wings were meaty and delicious. Kids Mac n cheese was also good. All items were great! Very nice cocktail menu. Bartenders that knew how to make a quality drink, not the shortcut stuff (think Old Fashioned). Wine list is serviceable, but it's not a wine bar. Ashley was our server and killed it! They have a good team in place from host to runner. Vibe is laid back. Value is one of the top at Big Sky. We ate there twice in a week, so yeah, we liked it. Hope you do as well!“
