“I enjoy most coffee, but really appreciate good coffee. Since we've found Yellowstone Coffee Roasters out in Bozeman, MT, the difference between the two has been quite a bit easier to tell. So far we've tried Barn Dog (vanilla bean, cherry, and toffee), Farm Stand (chocolate chip, date, and honey), our favorite so far Winter Solstice (dark chocolate and molasses), and now this morning Mexico Chiapas (cocoa, pecan, and praline). We also have Big Sky Lift (milk chocolate, caramel, and roasted nuts) on deck. If you enjoy really great coffee, I can't recommend Yellowstone Coffee Roasters enough.“

“I spent the day in Bozeman and camped not too far from Cafe M. I picked a random little coffee shop for some fuel to get my day started. I'm so glad I stumbled upon cafe M. The parking lot was full and there was a long line although it moved pretty quickly. The cashier was very nice. Food and coffee were delicious. I got the Norris burrito. Perfectly wrapped! I would've loved to eat in house but the place was so full. No empty tables. Next time I'm in Bozeman, this is where I'll be!“

“Placed a delivery order for a corporate event. Food arrived on time and was delicious. We ordered coffee and several of the breakfast sandwich trays. Lots of positive comments on how good the bread was. We had several attendees that were gluten free so it was nice to have an option for them. I recommend and would use them again.“

“I don't like Starbucks coffee very much at all as a barista myself, but this Starbucks actually made a very good peppermint mocha. Although they aren't really that difficult to mess up, it was perfect to jump start my day onto the next round of driving a few hundred miles. Starbucks is always a quick option that won't let you down if you choose certain coffees.However, most Starbucks I've been to have these coffee grinder/shot machines that grind, press and pull the shots of coffee through a computer. So the taste can be the same for all stores and a little weird for that matter but can loose that rich fine tuning of fresh coffee that a computer can fail to replicate easily.“

“This place is wonderful! The coffee is always pretty good and it’s quick! I always get a honey latte hot and iced are both delicious! There is one guy who works who is always so nice he just wonderful!!! It’s never a long wait max five minutes I’ve never waited more than 10! I’ve gone 4-5 times now it’s a pretty solid place and the espresso is always decent! Some days better than others but always reliable today I got an iced latte and it is absolutely perfect the espresso is nutty and delicious!“

“Great if you order ahead, frustrating if you don’t

I actually really like this Starbucks, but I’ve learned there’s a pretty big difference between ordering ahead and ordering in the store.

If I place a mobile order, this location is fantastic. I can walk in, grab my coffee, and be on my way. The staff are generally friendly and the drinks are good. But if I walk in and order at the counter, be prepared to wait. There have been plenty of times where I’ve watched people who ordered after me through the app get their drinks while I’m still waiting for mine. For a quick coffee stop, that can be pretty frustrating.

The parking situation doesn’t help either. The lot around the Home Depot development can be a pain to navigate, and finding a convenient spot during busy times can turn what should be a quick coffee run into more of an ordeal.

I will say that the employees themselves are usually friendly and are clearly working hard, so I don’t necessarily blame the staff for the slow service. It just seems like the way orders are prioritized and the layout of this particular location can make ordering in person unnecessarily slow.

Overall, I’d give this location 4 stars. If you know the trick and order ahead, it’s a great Starbucks. If you walk in expecting to grab a quick coffee and go, you may want to bring some patience with you.“
