“The owner is seriously so cordial and kind. I’m a traveler and she’s able to remember a familiar face and takes the time to say hi and see if you’re happy with the food. The bartender was this sweet tentative guy who was running around busy but made sure I was taken care of! I wish I grabbed his name. The food was out of this world. The best Mediterranean I’ve ever had and so insane it’s a hidden treasure in this small town. It was fresh, hot, and the chicken cous cous was so amazing and tender. They made a Dubai pistachio dessert drink that was so amazing. I love the atmosphere and makes being here, away from home, feel so much better”

What really makes this place stand out though is the bartenders — they are absolutely fantastic. They’re friendly, attentive, and always make sure your drink is perfect. “I've been going to this place since my birthday...I was 5. My grandfather Bill Fleming (Finnegan Electric) said to order anything...it was a lobster tail as big as a cauliflower! EVERY time I'm in Butte this is my go to. I tell people whenever we talk food about this place and the memories my family shared. I'm now 59.. Ruth's Chris has nothing on Lydia's! There were other supper clubs, in Butte at the time...just goes to show that only the strong survive...and if you're a Butte local, you know what that means!”

“If you love sushi.. and delicious food you have to check it out. Love the vibes. They do not serve alcohol. Awesome menu options. They serve a variety of Asian food. So yummy. They offer chopsticks and silverware. I highly recommend! Portions are good too. I'll add photos next time.. If I remember.”

“You really, really need to add the prime rib wontons to the appetizer menu and you need to add the pork shank to your menu. Those two items are some of the best I have ever had. When you were offering these, I ordered them every time came in to eat. Thank you.”

“Our friend, Pam, stopped at this pub as she was passing through Butte. We were traveling a couple days behind her so she contacted us to recommend it. We're so glad we stopped in. We met the owners, Kyle and Jean. We had a bit of Wisconsin background to share with them and felt like we were back home.Our hearty pub burgers were excellent. Just what we were in the mood for. They have lots of seating. We chose to eat and have a beer at the bar and met a couple of "regulars" and had great conversation. We highly recommend The Homestake Pub. “I’m from Arizona and it has been hard to find good Mexican food. I was not expecting much in Butte but La Sirena was some of the best tacos I’ve had in a very long time. They were SO kind and charismatic too and absolutely worth the price. Their green hot sauce was AMAZING I need it in bulk! lol”

“Nice, open coffee shop with big windows. There are only five tables but a few of them had outlets available. I didn't have an issue finding a place to work as it wasn't very busy early in the morning. Wifi was solid. I would definitely recommend the hot chocolate. It had a nice chocolatey flavor, no bitterness.”

We called in our breakfast burritos and sandwiches ahead of time . They were hot and ready when we arrived and some of the best food we have had !! Fresh and made to order ! We also got some Americanos and a vanilla matcha. Our daughter said her matcha was smooth and creamy , one of the best she has ever had . If we are eve traveling this way again we will definitely stop!”

I am super picky and most definitely a coffee/drink snob :-) My daughter had some drinks door dashed from here for us and I was nervous about trying anything because I’ve had bad flavors/experiences from other local shops. However I decided to try the wild berry smoothie and it’s AMAZING!!!! The order was made and delivered quick and fresh and the quality of the drinks are to die for!! “I love the atmosphere of the place. Small enough that it's easy to get into a conversation with other folks. No TVs to speak of so don't have to talk over whatever sports game happens to be on. The beer is top notch! Currently the Open Pit Porter and the Ragged Shute NEIPA are my two favorites. They do 16 oz and 32 oz can fills as well and growler fills. I really do love Quarry!”

“What a great experience! Jim (our bartender) is a gem...so attentive and genuinely hospitable.
Hops is located in the Best Western hotel. We liked the atmosphere, comfy seating area, great selection of beer on tap and assortment of gaming machines. Bar area was quiet enough to converse, which we did as Jim is a knowledgeable local host.
We were offered a snack of chips with salsa or nuts and pretzels if we so desired, or if we wanted hot food, he would have gone next door to the Perkins restaurant to put in an order for us. I tell you, you don't get this kind of service most places.
Prices were good and we would return!!”

Simple and yet exactly what I want from this kind of sandwich. My kids split an order of French Toast sticks and they were both decadent but still the down home kind of breakfast item you hope for. Dan even has a special candy corn syrup for his fall menu, which was disgusting, BECAUSE i hate candy corn and it was spot on for the flavor! If you want some good coffee with a very friendly staff, skip the others and head over to Miners!”

I would classify myself as a coffee snob and I have high expectations when it comes to getting what you pay for. The customer service here is amazing! They go above and beyond in ensuring your coffee is made to perfection and exactly how you like it. If it is not, they will gladly remake it to your liking with a smile on their face. The staff is friendly every time I have visited here. They are eager to please and put forth an effort to ensure your experience is the best possible one. The coffee is very good. It is top notch, and of high quality. It has that perfect balance, complex aroma with caramelized fruity notes that give it a smooth rich flavor. If you like lattes, I highly recommend a quarter scoop of their premium white chocolate powder with a drizzle of vanilla. I love to leave town with a bag of their Signature Blend medium roast coffee to make espresso and lattes when at home. Highly recommend!”

“The name says it all. One huge party after 9pm. Be warned non drinkers. For those of you that don't drink alcohol, you will be ignored. Once you get your first Pepsi or water, your on your own. You'll have to throw something at the bartender to get their attention after that. Music at times is so loud you can't talk with the people you came in with. It does get loud. 5 people in the bar but the music volume is set for a packed house. During the day its quite and there's a few pool tables to be played. But at night it's a different story. It's worth checking out.”

“Stopped at the Subway on Montana Street this past Sunday with my daughter while heading back to Oregon from helping my son move in Wyoming.

The bigger guy working was very friendly and polite even though it was busy, he stayed calm and still took the time to ask how we were doing. Real nice guy and a good talker. The girl, Kendraye i think her name was, was polite too, just a little quiet but sweet.

The place looked clean for the most part a couple tables needed wiping, but she went and cleaned them right after. Food was good and fresh, no complaints there.

Only thing I didn’t care for was how cold it was inside felt like walking into an icebox 🥶after being out in the cold. Other than that, it was a nice stop and good service.”
