I took my family to the freeze during our trip to Fort Benton, just for a snack and ice cream. The ice cream was good. And the patio area was nice too, but the place was super expensive. For ice creams for 4 of 5 people, and a couple snacks, not even any meals, it was $54. That's a bit much for me. It was nice to have that place though, and there's not much competition, as the town is tiny and there are very few choices for ice cream or food at all. I can only comment on the dessert here because it's the only thing I order when I go to Fort Benton every summer. Every sundae, milkshake, or cone I have ever had is delicious. But this year I finally had some kind of sundae with lemon and huckleberry and it was AMAZING. The prices here are fair and they DO accept credit cards! My only tip is get there early - they close at 8pm and the skies stay bright til we'll past 9pm so it's easy to lose track of time!
