“We like to sit inside and eat sometimes. But we do not like that you have to use a kiosk to order. Our order did not come out right. They were not polite to us when we told them. We would like to order from a live person. If there was someone available to help you with kiosk it may be better.“

“Very friendly, our food came very quickly for as busy as it was. The older lady in black who was cleaning the tables and floors was very friendly and quick to make sure we sat at a clean table and that our floor area was clean. She didn’t only do that with us but was just as friendly to all the customers. We got up to leave and she held the door open for us and thanked us and told us to have a great day. When my order was absolutely destroyed in drive thru, called and got the manager who agreed ketchup and onions don't belong on chicken sandwiches haha. Offered to replace my meal immediately, since I was full already, she took my info and today I drove thru and she not only replaced my original meal but gave me a lemonade also. “5 on Black has an easy menu, the food tastes really good (the spicy coconut sauce looks awful but tastes great) and I have not met an unpleasant employee yet. Beware: the little rolls they sell are addictive.

“Get the phone app No matter how busy they are, the location is really small, with the app, order, wait, walk in to the register and pick up and off you go. Food is delicious The Portabella Mushroom Chicken Cheese Steak is delicious.“

“Amazing food and great service. I’m traveling cross country from NYC to Portland, I’m extremely sensitive to gluten and was struggling to find decent food.
I had gotten “gluten’ed” by a few restaurants on the trip.
My sister picked FOB when she saw good reviews and gf options, it was a pleasant surprise that everything was gf.
I got lucky with what I picked but the options can be daunting and I’d love a good flavor combination guide.
The small size was actually a big portion and really filling.
Service was great and they were super friendly and helpful.
I wish they had a location in NYC, will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.

“I was hungry so I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich on Veteran's day. The people at the counter were very pleasant and asked if I was a veteran which I am. They said any combination including OJ was on us. WOW! what a great surprise that I was not expecting. THANK YOU!!!“
