“Our 2nd. time there. The log cabin atmosphere is truly great. Busy location at the time of our arrival 6:00pm on a Thursday evening. Server was very nice and efficient. We both had the trio, ribs-chicken-shrimp, same as the first time there. Food was tasty but this time it was barely warm. Overall experience was
good as the first time.10% discount with CAA card.”
“UPDATE: menu has changed & DOES NOT highlight the pizza that killed all others! Sort of a strange hodgepodge menu now...
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Best pizza in town, hands down. The Detroit crust is mindblowing & though a bit more expensive than your Dominoes or Papa John's, the quality and heft are worth every tiny penny! Decadent stuff...
The Tavern pizzas (traditional hand-rolled crusts) are more economical, but also fantastic. It's a great thing they provide both crusts, as they're different beasts, with different price points, but sharing the same level of quality...
If I could say anything to the contrary, it might be that the club music kinda sucks - Dust in the Wind with beats for the dancefloor? Seemed at odds with the menu & if I could read the other guests, probably not their thing either!
And one other wee suggestion: the pizza is SO darn incredible that when you get to piece #5 out of 8, sometimes (because it's served on a sheet pan with butcher paper), the crust loses its beautiful crispness & gets the sog a bit...wondering if even cornmeal might help to lift it a bit, or little low cooling racks, so the crust doesn't steam directly against the pan? This seems more prevalent on the Detroit crusts I've had, probably because of the simple heft of delectability the crust must hold!
Either way, though - I'd come for this pizza if they were outside in a rainstorm playing bagpipes! Killer stuff👍”
“Great service , great food , great atmosphere makes for a great dining experience”
“We celebrated my mom and husband’s birthdays at Italian by Night on Tuesday, August 19th, and it was such a perfect night! The team was super accommodating, and Liz, our server so kind, patient, fun and friendly. She really went above and beyond to make the whole experience extra special. The food (as always) was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been whisked straight to Italy. It’s often our first pick when we’re celebrating anything special...or when we’re just craving some amazing pasta. This is hands down the best spot in the Saint John and we recommend it all the time. Thank you for creating such a beautiful spot and adding such charm to our city. We look forward to supporting your business for many more visits to come! Grazie!”
“You gotta try this spot! The staff are so friendly and curteous. Really enjoyed chatting about "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" with the staff. Atmosphere is very cool, low lights, beautiful decor and lovely art. The dim sum was so tender and tasty!! The tonkotsu ramen is easily the best in the province! Excited to come back and try the braised pork belly.”

“This place is a gem - the entertainment was fantastic! (I think the singer's name is Keith)
We had a party of ten and they accommodated us in no time. The beer selection was excellent and the prices more than fair. Definitely recommend!”
“Absolutely amazing experience every time. The food is made with creativity and love, and the staff makes you feel like you’ve been invited in to their family. Make a reservation so you aren’t disappointed. And don’t forget to try their Saturday Bakery for some incredible freshly baked goods!”
“Went out to celebrate our graduation with my classmates and we had a great time! Our server, April, was wonderful and patient with us even though we were a little indecisive and confusing while trying to order. 10/10 would recommend, especially if April is working!”

“Had a meal with friends at Taste of Egypt on Saturday. Wonderful service, friendly staff, super yummy food, very creamy hummus! Tried the shawarma poutine, yummy chicken gravy, lots of curds and nice thick home-cut fries. Tried the arayes with yummy kofta beef filling, lovely creamy garlic sauce, all breads were fluffy and soft. Wonderful experience, hibiscus tea was divine.”
“Awesome axe house. Friendly staff with beautiful decor. 14 beers on tap. Tough to find a better place for fun. They even have a friendly axe-dog.”

“I was in yesterday to celebrate my elderly father's birthday, and we were not disappointed! Our server Kylee was amazing, she went about and beyond to accommodate my father's minced diet, and to be sure he was well looked after.Even going the extra mile to check herself to be sure his sauce for his fish wasn't too thin, so that it would be safe for him to eat. We really appreciated her extra care and concern in this matter. You could tell she really enjoys her job and the people she serves, and really didn't mind making the extra effort for him. The atmosphere was lovely, we all were very happy with our meals. I also can't say enough about kylee for then assisting my father and his gf out to the car with their walkers,as I pulled up to the door so they didn't get wet in the rain. Overall exceeded our expectations and will definitely be back! You Kylee are a rare gem and I will highly recommend to others to come and see you! Thank you for making my father's experience such a comfortable and enjoyable one! You helped make it so easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves! Thank you!”
“Great food and a huge selection of beer on tap.
I went for a solo dinner and to sample a few local brew offerings.
I settled on the seafood chowder and it was excellent, full of seafood and with perfect crispy sourdough.
The beef tip sandwich was tasty and well prepared with their house spices.
Excellent place for a comfortable meal or a large group.”
“A $60 Date With Disappointment (And Only the Lobster Kissed Me Right) It was my first time here, and I came alone but I wasn’t planning to feel alone. You’d think they’d charm a solo diner with a seat by the view, but no... they tucked me away upstairs in the loneliest corner like I was a secret they didn’t want anyone to see. Romantic? Not exactly. I asked for an iced tea. The server poured it like it was fine wine, then whisked away the bottle, half full. Um... was that rationed or just rude? Let’s talk food. The crispy pork bites? More like crispy heartbreaks—dry, chewy, and a jaw workout I didn’t sign up for. The dipping sauce? Tangy, spicy, and just plain wrong. Like a bad blind date that shows up with no personality and too much cologne. Then came the lobster bun and fries. The lobster with garlic aioli? Finally, someone (or something) understood the assignment. Tender, flavorful, seductive. But the bun was small—tease—and the fries? Dry, bland, and abandoned on the plate like they gave up on life. Not even a sauce to save them. In the end, I paid around $60 for a solo meal (including tip) to feel... unsatisfied. A tragic romance of missed potential. I can’t say it was worth it but maybe I just didn’t order the right dishes. Perhaps there are other items on the menu that shine. Maybe I’ll come back. Maybe I won’t.”
“We went for lunch today at Susanna for the first time. The service, portion, atmosphere were even better with the new shiny location. The taste if it's possible was even better than usual. Congratulations on your new adventure and based on today's visit you have a winner. We will be back soon and will bring friends.”
“Had a wonderful breakfast here today! The food was cooked perfectly and staff were great ! Also, best view in the city”
“Had dinner twice there as I was staying at the Hilton. First night got the Nachos, they were pretty nice, good portions and very fresh. Second night was the Fish N Chip, which was disappointing, the tartar sauce felt weak, the batter was soggy, and the fish tasteless. Nice selection of draft beer, but they are over 11$ a pint.”
“The food was delicious and of great quality; however, the portion size was quite small, and we had to request bread multiple times. Unfortunately, it took exactly one hour from the time we placed our order until the food was finally served, which was quite disappointing”
“Took my dad here tonight and he was very impressed. Reasonably priced authentic food experience. Servers were very friendly and courteous. Ribs, egg fried rice, and the sliced pork belly was so good as usual.”
“Had the buttermilk chicken and cashew salad last night, it was a beautiful salad and it was big enough for a meal. It was so delicious and I enjoyed every bite! The dressing was a peanut butter Thai. My husband had a goat cheese bacon burger and he enjoyed every bite as well. The service was friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our evening out, thanks lily’s cafe!”

“what's a king to a god? a damn good burger apparently. we placed an eighty dollar order and in was ready in five minutes. insanity. not only did they put the fast in fast food, they put the crown on my head. burger king is, undeniably, an institution, and this establishment is a beaming example of it. LONG LIVE THE KING!”
“I’ve been to McDonald’s a few times and love the Junior Chicken Meal with fries or poutine and a medium Coke—definitely a go-to comfort meal. The Snack Oreo McFlurry with extra Oreo is always a treat, although sometimes I wish they’d add a bit more Oreo to make it perfect.
That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The Junior Chicken and fries are not always fresh; on a few occasions, the chicken tasted off, and the fries were soggy or cold, which was really disappointing. The lobby area also tends to be messy, with garbage left uncleared, and it seems like the self-serve station for lids, straws, napkins, and sauces is often not stocked properly. It’s a bit frustrating when you have to hunt for basic items during a busy visit.
While the food can be hit or miss depending on the freshness, the McFlurry and drink are always satisfying. With better attention to cleanliness and food quality, it could be a more consistent and enjoyable experience.
Vegetarian options: McDonald’s doesn’t offer many vegetarian options, which can be disappointing for plant-based eaters. Aside from fries, hotcakes, and burgers without the meat patty (essentially just the bun and veggies), there aren’t many substantial choices.
Parking: While McDonald’s offers plenty of parking, it’s a bit of a letdown when it comes to pedestrian access. The lack of proper sidewalks makes it difficult for people on foot to safely navigate from the parking lot to the entrance.
Kid-friendliness: McDonald’s is definitely a kid-friendly especially with its play area. It’s a great option for families looking to grab a quick meal while letting kids burn off some energy. The menu has plenty of options for little ones too, like Happy Meals, which come with fun toys and a choice of sides like apple slices or fries.”
“The best McDonald's in the area, including Quispam/Rothesay and surroundings.
Always very clean, drinks prepared immediately, always great taste and quality. Team actions are very professional and staff in always friendly and ready to help.
Really enjoy visiting this place, drive from no matter where to get my order in this location particularly.
Thank you for the atmosphere and quality service!”
“The fish and chips were the best we have had, the atmosphere is awesome and the service was excellent. Our waitress Taylor was awesome. Thank you Ben and staff for the wonderful meal, we will be back soon. 🙂”

“This was a very great coffee shop. If you want a treat I would get the boba latte, it is pretty sweet though. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it almost gave off a cozy cabin type vibe. mildly long wait for the drinks but there was a pretty long line so it was understandable”
“So my Mum's 101st Birthday has just passed and she thought scallops would be a nice dinner idea. This was my first visit to Bob's and will definitely not be the last! Cozy, homey atmosphere, lovely staff and patrons and, the scallops and clams, both with fries, were delicious! We both ate almost everything on our plates and enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you for making Mum's special meal such a success and for all the well wishes too. Pam, thank you again for your kindness too.”

“The pizza here was fantastic! The crust was a perfect mix of crispy and soft, the sauce had a rich and tangy flavor, and the toppings were fresh and generously portioned. The cheese was nicely melted, and every bite was well-balanced. It’s definitely a place I’d come back to for a consistently delicious pizza experience.”
“I went there tonight with my fiancé, my brother and sister-in-law. As we got there, they were just closed. My sister-in-law said I am so sad because I wanted to try this. It’s my first time and the guy who was working, came to the door and said for you, I’ll let you in. We all got chatting and it was like we were all besties. They were super nice and very friendly and agreed to make a few pizzas for us. They deserve a lot of recognition not many places would do this at all. They took the time and made the pizzas, even though they were going to close and head on their own way. Great service and excellent food as always.❤️❤️”
“Absolutely amazing staff. I have an autistic son and they go above and beyond to get him to enjoy the food. The food is absolutely amazing. Price is on point. 10 out of 10 and I'm a very picky person. I have not yet been dissatisfied with anything that they've recommended or that I've tried on their menu. The place is so small and cute and so clean”
“I had an amazing experience at Lemongrass! The service was outstanding, and our server Zev went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely incredible – I had the tacos, and they were bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was beautiful, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a 10/10 for me! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance.”
“I had an iced caramel latte and their chicken bacon Caesar sandwich made on multigrain (toasted). The latte was delightful and the flavors on the sandwich were perfect. I love their little patio spot and dining area that has an opening garage door for the warmer months. Cute place for a lunch date!”
“My family & I had a great experience at this location. This establishment is very kid friendly. Our server Maddy was fantastic and checked in with us frequently to ensure everything was taken care of. The food quality was great. We will definitely be back.”

“Had a couple of salmon trays and it was delicious. I have eaten sushi in many places and this was top drawer. The rice consistency temperature and flavour was perfect. The fish cuts were great and the size was perfect really well done, highly recommend, it looks like a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing.”
“We are not from the Saint John area and we stumbled apon this new whiskey bar. We told our host at the door that it was our first time in and she graciously took us on a tour of the whole place. This place has an old town classy vibe with a beautiful outdoor patio. Unfortunately we were to late in the evening to order from thier delicious looking menu but the cocktails made up for that as they were delicious. The hostess was very helpful with the drink menu and recommendations. Hopscotch will definitely be our place to go when in Saint John. We can't wait to come back and try the food menu!”
“quiet, nice place, we enjoyed dining here, liked the chicken teriyaki bowl, reasonably priced yet bursting with clean flavors. Most importantly we were treated very nice by the wonderful server, and as a bonus nearby employees inside gas station are wonderful to chat with. A++”
“I spent 3 months in St John for work.
I'm from Vancouver and was shocked at how small New Brunswick felt.
Rockys bar was the best bar/pub I visited that felt like a big city sports bar. If you like sports this is the spot to go. It would be good even if you're not interested in sports.
They had good service, good food and a good environment.

“Known for its energy, Uptown Saint John is a creative hotspot. For musicians, for painters, for glassworkers, for culinary artists, to the busy workers keeping the city flowing. It's all art and expression if we love what we do. Many people make magic happen in Saint John, but Uptown brings forth both the inner beauties and dark sides of this wonderful city. We face it all, and then come to The R-Bar at night to relax and let loose. A moment to practice being who we truly are, to express our love and passion, with like minded, high energy people. The drinks are cold and neat, the lights are colorful and bright, while the music guides our flow through the night! And if you're lucky enough to have a few minutes to stop in during the day, you will not miss the creative energy. People from all walks of life find their way here to laugh, eat a bite from a local restaurant, or enjoy discussions about City Market Artists/Vendors over a table looking out onto two of Saint John's most bustling streets. All that said, it's simple to break down in one sentence. "I love OuR-Bar and all the people who walk through the doors!" ~ [ @Hapheseus ]”
“Like alot of users of this outlet we are all repeat customers. We go everyday and what is really cool about this location is there is no drive through. That means the staff get to know your name and order which creates a special dynamic .They become part of your everyday work life.Friends that make your day better. One employee Sukhpreet Kaur is especially good at this. Thanks to them all.”
“Delphi Street Restaurant exceeded all expectations. The chef's creativity shines through in every dish, making each bite a delight. The seafood platter was fresh and expertly prepared. The staff’s warm hospitality made us feel like VIPs. We'll definitely be returning soon!”

“Happy to say my friend and I went to Tipsy Tomatoe after a manicure right across the parking lot and was greeted by a friendly , polite and helpful waitress. We ordered the hamburger and fries and I must say the hamburger was the best burger I have had in years. The fries could have been a little crisper and less grease but they were tasty. Service and food was great and drinks were happy hour prices . Will definitely be back.”

“As an Indian, when I ask for extra spices, I expect something more on the red chili side, not vinegar. Unfortunately, they gave me extra vinegar instead, which didn’t quite hit the mark. In hindsight, it probably would have been better without the added spice, as I didn’t really enjoy it. However, the fries and other items were quite good”

“Quick & fast delivery via Door dash, Skip and Uber eats. I've ordered from this location a couple of times. Pizzas have arrived correctly and hot. “Having a place like this near by is amazing! It should have more great reviews! They sell a variety of sweet and savory treats and my family and I love them all. The service seems a tad cold at first, but don't let them fool you. They are really nice, genuine people and just want to help you out! They work really hard to put out delicious sour dough, french bread, old school donuts, cookies, muffins, croissants, and more! They also sell cheesecake from another local business from uptown. Support your local bakery before they disappear! Thank you so very much!”
“I had an excellent experience.”
