“Menu is extensive and food was excellent. We had the corn, arepas, tuna, okra, and capirotada, which were all outstanding. Would pass on the peaches and tomato dish, which was bland, however. The noise level was 115 db, which is considered very loud and can cause hearing damage, and service was not as attentive as on two prior occasions.“

“A lovely wine bar with a wonderful selection of orange wine! I stopped by again on my birthday a few weeks ago, and was warmly welcomed by the owner Esteban. I think Brunello focuses more on the wine than the bar. In other words, it’s a great place to try out and get educated on new wine, but it’s less “vibe-y” as a bar. I wonder if softer chairs/a couch would help. Overall highly recommend!!“

“Really good food and drinks and really good quality for the price. Neat menu of fusion foods with really good flavor, portions are just a little small. Overall I would give this 4.5 stars if I could - it's not quite a 5-star for me after some recent other food experiences elsewhere but this is a solid yes if someone were to ask if I'd recommend going here.“

“One day my daughter called me, (knowing that Skeeball is both of our favorite arcade games), and said Boxcar is having a Skeeball tournament on Wednesday, do you want to go… I said sure! That was two and a half years ago, and excluding vacations and surgeries, we’ve played every Wednesday since! We love the place!! I’m not only really fortunate to get to hang out with my daughter for a few hours having fun playing the game we love. But the employees there have become friends. They’re all great people! Friendly and professional! Especially Malik and Crews, but honestly all of them!
Just solid good folks! The food is surprisingly on a level I wasn’t expecting… excellent! And the bartenders bust their butts to get you served… I love this place!! And my favorite day and hi lights of the week is Wednesdays of course because of Skeeball at Boxcar!! Thanks so much for what you do!

“My teenager’s wisdom teeth were removed so I was looking for a good smoothie nearby so he could have something soft and nutritious to ingest. I chose to try this shop to also support local ownership and I’m glad I did. Very friendly and helpful customer service. I bought a NY Cheesecake smoothie for him and blueberry for me. It was so delicious and filling for the afternoon. I meant to take a picture of my smoothie 🤦🏾‍♀️, maybe next time.“

The place was busy but didn't feel crowded, and the bartenders were quick to serve, with several beers on steep discount (think $3-4/pour) as they were trying to open up taps for new kegs. I'm usually a brewery guy, but the divey atmosphere is fun and I'll definitely be going back.“

I had been calling the rooftop restaurant for a couple of weeks to try and modify a reservation for a birthday party and after five or six attempts, they had not called me back. I eventually called the hotel and Desmond answered and even though it is completely separate and outside of his job responsibilities, he took down all my information and reached out to them on my behalf . Desmond was able to modify my reservation so that I did not have to drive down there an hour each way. He was very professional and I enjoyed talking with him. “It was our first time going today and it certainly won't be the last! we loved everything about this place. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and very kind. she explained everything well and let us extend our reservation for another hour. Prices are very reasonable especially if you come with friends and split. the room was very comfortable and we all enjoyed having fun together.“
