Committed to local business, this is a community hub with art, music, local food & produce, fresh flowers, and more than I could possibly list - no pets allowed in market though there is an artist craft market in the same area that does welcome pets. The produce is located in a covered pavilion safe from sun/rain but the rest of the market is uncovered. Free parking lot within walking distance and near a park!“

“I've been eating Indian food from restaurants for years. I'm picky! India Gate's food is excellent. When I visit friends near there, we often get their food. We like it so much that we chose them to prepare all the food for an upcoming big party that we will be hosting. I recommend them!“

“We were there for a dog adoption event and I decided to try one of their ciders. I got the Tart Cherry Cider and it was really good. The location is great, but the parking is somewhat challenging to find. I love that they had a lot of ciders, since I have Celiac and am gluten free. But I would love it if some of their beer offerings were also gluten free/gluten reduced.

The space itself is awesome. They have a large game room with a pool table and arcade games, that one of my teenagers really gravitated towards.

And the dog adoption event with Freedom Ride Rescue was great! So many lovable dog options, from young to old, and the fosters were very knowledgeable about the temperament and backstory of each one. Overall, a great experience!“

“Had a great brunch at The Refectory Cafe! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is super friendly. I especially love those flowers!! Such a thoughtful touch that really brightens my mood. We ordered the Carolina Cobb, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and a Strawberry Smoothie. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend“

“I’d give them 5 stars for the pickles alone. Please consider selling the pickles separately, they are that good. Burgers are fantastic as well, and actually cooked how you order them. All toppings are fresh. Duck fries are really good and easy to share. Service is always friendly. This is my go to burger spot in the Triangle.“

“My partner and I moved to Durham in December and this has been our go to spot ever since. Cosmic was actually the first place we ate when we moved here! If you’re looking for delicious food available at almost every hour of the day, this is the place. The burritos are consistently perfect, the salsa is incredible, and the chips are crispy and the perfect saltiness. The atmosphere is really cool and the staff are so friendly! They seriously bust ass. So thankful for this place- we go every week!“

“Full service bakery that just happens to make great sandwiches! I had the chicken curry salad on sourdough which had the right amount of curry flavor with just a little kick. Cole slaw that came with it was good, and the pickle spear had a nice crunch. I'll definitely return to try their other sandwiches, and maybe one of their soups as well!“

“I recently catered an event today and Smallcake provided the desserts. I had the opportunity to try some cupcakes. Let me tell you that they were some of the best cup cakes I have had. I tried the carrot, red velvet, lemon and the confetti one, which was sooo good. But The oreo was my favorite.
Also, they were very beautiful, I will be ordering from them soon.“
