“Fantastic meal last night at Jargon! The ginger carrot 🥕 soup was incredible. We paired it with Asparagus and risotto. The strawberry dessert was amazing and the after dinner drinks with espresso beans were perfection.“

“We were on our way through Asheville and found this little gem after our first choice was closed. Do glad we did. \n\nThey were quite full/busy but they fit us in and were very kind and gracious about it. \n\nThe entire experience was special. About four different staff members checked on us throughout our evening. \n\nTheir knowledge of the menu was incredible, and especially their very extensive wine list. \n\nWe started with their “Darling” bread and butter. Absolutely amazing. I would have been happy with just that. \n\nTheir offerings of different locally grown greens was amazing. \n\nWe had the lamb kebabs and rabbit pasta for our main. Our outstanding sever recommended two incredible wines to pair. \n\nAn incredible experience from start to finish.“

“my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. Crystal ( I hope that's right, my mind is old lol)was truly awesome and everyone needs to experience this place and her! 500 stars!!“

If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

Gemelli pasta good, but a little off. Really wanted to like mushrooms but too much balsamic - more butter and wine! The dessert was disappointing, a very stiff tiramisu. Taste okay but rather “concrete’ in texture.“

“Dining room where do you start !! All of the staff are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The food is of high quality and presentation. The chef is phenomenal. Grace was our waitress, and she is definitely an asset to the team. While we dined, I observed the rest of the staff. Top-notch everyone. We had a table with a window view, and it was fabulous. The experience we had at the Dining Room we will cherish for the rest of our lives ! Thank you.“

“Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Lovely ambience in the space. It feels like the kitchen really cares about the food it brings out. One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.“

“December 30th, 2025: We had the most nice experience, and it was all thanks to our server! A group of 7 of us went out for very late lunch lunch, but it became dinner, and experience is above, and beyond to make sure our night was perfect. The staff was so kind, respectful, and attentive, checking on us frequently and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic—but what truly made the evening unforgettable was staff. The place brought such positive energy and made our entire group feel so well cared for. If I could rate 4+ stars, I would. We had 2 Cuban Sandwiches, comes with chips, we also shared a Mac&Cheese between my wife, and me; Our two daughters shared 1 pot roast, a brisket with mac&cheese; our grand son had the ribeye steak, my son in law had a steak sandwich, my granddaughter had chicken tenders with french fries! It has a great atmosphere with an outdoor seating option with a view of downtown. If you’re ever in Asheville I HIGHLY recommend you giving Tupelo Honey a chance!“

“Leigh our server was outstanding in delivering a memorable experience on our anniversary. She went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible dinner. My wife's trout and my scallops were delicious. I actually hesitated on the scallops due to its side dish which was succotash. I didn't have fond memories of that dish when I was a kid... (lima beans) but Leigh reassured me that this was delicious. Could the side dish steal the show of the scallops? In this case it indeed did. I loved it so much I asked Leigh how they made. She actually gave me an email and the chef would send me the recipe! That my friends is service! In fact I regret booking the Dining Room at the Inn the next night and wished we had returned to the Bistro. Bravo Bistro!!“
