“Great beach bar with affordable drinks and excellent service! Be sure to bring your ID—and even your pup can hang out with you until 9 PM. The only drawback is that there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning, so I can imagine it gets pretty warm in the summer. Still, the atmosphere was awesome, and I’ll definitely be back!”

“Went to the roof top bar last night for dinner and drinks. Atmosphere was so relaxing and nice cool breeze ad well as views of the beach. The dinner was delicious and I highly recommend the garlic cheese curds. Ken our bar tender made us amazing tasting drinks, any drink we asked him to make he knew how and they tasted great. If your out about in Atlantic beach I highly recommend you stop and check it out, you won't be sorry.”

“Best pizza around we come quiet often during the summer season and have never been disappointed. If you have leftovers put it in the oven at 275 degrees for a couple minutes and its just as good as when you bought it the night before.”

“Can't say enough about how wonderful Full Moon Oyster Bar is! Even after us getting there early and seated quickly they still sold out of our usual favorite starters (lobster deviled eggs and crab stuffed mushrooms) but the bacon wrapped scallops and seared tuna did not disappoint. Jake mastered my extra dirty martini to Brittany Spears and beyond Courtney Love levels while server Josh (with a Cabernet Sauvignon wine namesake) cheerfully and attentively took our orders. A member of our party even successfully completed the 6 Oyster Challenge earning a shirt. The drinks were on point, the beer was cold, the food was excellent and the staff was engaging and amazing. I'm hesitant to leave such an excellent review knowing my faves might continue to sell out for my next visit, but this experience is too good to keep secret! Thank you for a very fun experience! “My husband loves DQ, we make frequent stops while traveling especially while at Atlantic Beach at this location. They have the best cones. I don’t know what is different about their ice cream here but it is creamy and more tasty.
Little girl that waited on us this week , we went every evening, was great. They were lined out the door and she was efficient and quick all with a smile. She needs a raise!”

“This place is not the kind of place you will want to sit & eat but if you order correctly then it's a very satisfying experience.
We ordered the Mongolia Beef, Vegetable Fried Rice & Steamed Dumplings.
It was all really good for around $30.”

It is conveniently located at the beach on the main road, Ford Macon Road en route to the Circle and other Atlantic Beach public shorelines. Beachgoers can shop local and stop in for something refreshing and will love colorful Sub Tropics - a sandwich, wrap and smoothie spot that's located in the heart of Atlantic Beach, just off the Atlantic Beach Causeway. I love what one review on google said, "cheerful customization from the chief, Charles." I also added a pic of some dolphins we saw. Be kind to the animals tho and be sure pick up all of your trash while at the beach. Stop in to SUB TROPICS for a treat on your next beach vacay.”
