“Located at the north end of the Village of Avon, this small shop has great coffee, friendly service, and a casual, greeting atmosphere. The barista is more than willing to accommodate special requests. There's even a small children's area with books to look at for young families. In addition to the traditional beach gear for sale, they have a small, but nice selection of books for sale, and a bin full of stickers, for those so inclined to collect them. Check it out! 5 smily faces... 😀😀😀😀😀”

“We had their pizza one night and it was amazing. We returned the following night and ate in. Ceasar salad, Italian sub, fettuccine Alfredo, ham and cheese sub and fries were amazing too. Their prices are great too. My only complaint would be they close at 8:30 PM, but that is the normal for the area.”

“Shout-out to the young blonde girl that works there. She deserves a raise! I had placed an online order and the app mistakingly said it was ready. I came in and it was already busy. She was the only employee there and even though she hadn't even gotten to start my order yet she was extremely apologetic and composed. The line just kept coming in as she juggled making multiple sandwiches/ salads and baking the rolls. Food industry and customer service are extremely stressful and she just handled the whole situation with grace. Food was great as always!”

The Smile Burger was a highlight - juicy, with an abundance of crispy cheese, perfectly seasoned. The fries? Spot on. The place is clean, the service swift and friendly. A must-visit for burger lovers. Highly recommended!”

“5 stars for value. If you are used to eating at a restaurant in a big city that specializes in a particular Chinese province, you’ll be disappointed. This is your typical small town Chinese-American fare and it’s great for what it is. Fried rice has small pieces of pork and egg rolls are above average for this type of place. 99 health dept score on the wall. This is the Chinese food you remember from your hungover college days. The combination dinner portion is pretty large for one person.”

“We were recommended by Grant over at Buxton Seafood & because we spent $50 on seafood over there we got a free scoop at Chilly Hanks. I think they learned quickly it’s easy to spend 50 bucks on seafood and even easier to sell ice cream to tourists in July even without the coupon so we didn’t get another one when we went back to Buxton Seafood the next day but that’s okay because our experience at Chilly Hanks was amazing free scoop or not. My sister in law and I are both gluten free (she’s celiac and very sensitive!) so the “gluten free waffle cone” option seemed too good to be true and we had to try. Somewhere between Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a graham cracker, the cone was truly something special - even my not gluten free husband loved it - and we believe they are homemade! Even if you aren’t gluten free or dairy free (or have a peanut allergy - we noticed they were peanut free though they have other nuts as options for toppings and in their flavors!) you have to check out CH.”
