“We have driven past this place for years and after sitting on the beach all day in September, we were starving. We stopped in and placed our order - prices were kinda high, but nothing we're not used to paying when at home. The menu options all sounded good. The sandwiches were good and definitely satisfied our hunger. We'll stop again the next time we're in town.“

“Our favorite coffee shop on Hatteras Island. Service is amazing and friendly. Coffee and baked goods delicious. Although the interior may not have the coziness of some coffee shops, the atmosphere is open with plenty of space to take in the local art or get a little work done (if you do that kinda thing in Avon).“

“Avon’s Froggy Dog is always a must when we’re in the OBX. The food is amazing, the service is fast and cheerful, and Liza makes the BEST Bloody Mary on the island. Go for the Sunday Brunch - you’ll be glad you did!“
