“This is a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. The service was amazing…very friendly and Welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. Now the wait for the food was a little long but when you taste the food you will know why. I did not get the cooks name, but he made this food with so much love and care. The customer service from the person who greeted us to our waitress that served us was great…..This is a place to stop if you ever traveling in the Carolina’s. “Went to Barry’s while in NC. The hotel was super cute with different themes. The atmosphere was cool with the old hunt lodge feel. The food & drinks were great. We loved the outdoor area and dock. Highly recommend!“

“We celebrated our anniversary here and could not have asked for a better experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely amazing. The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. You can truly tell they take pride in both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. The service was just as impressive. Christa was our server and she went above and beyond to make our night feel special. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire evening. It’s rare to find service that stands out this much, but she truly made our anniversary dinner even more memorable. “We have been getting Duck donuts here at the original store since 2011. Yesterday I went in to get our first order of the vacation week. We always vacation last week of August and it usually includes my son’s bday. He’ll be 17 on Saturday and heads off to college in a year. We told him we will pause OBX next summer since we don’t know exactly where he’ll go to college. I literally cried ordering my donuts yesterday to the owner and how much Duck OBX has met to our family memories for 13 years! Duck is all about traditions to us. Sunrise, sunsets, crabbing, and of course Duck Donuts! We have loved watching this business turn in to a national franchise. What a beautiful success story. 🍩 🍩🍩🍩“

“We biked here from Corolla Light for a quick trip after dinner, sans kids. It was a blast. Great outdoor setup, a dozen or so draft selections, a super easy-going bartender, and I believe we saw some people getting apps/snacks. And the music selection and volume was awesome, too.“

“Absolutely worth getting up for! Arrived around 720Am and there was slight line but it moved quickly. Breakfast sandwiches were yummy and family devoured the cinnamon rolls, cookies, and chocolate croissants I picked up. Staff were friendly and will definitely be back.“

“SOOOOOO, good, this is our 2nd year going to Duck, NC. We, as a family, go out with our 3 kids every year. This year we had 7 of us, the wait was long, however, it was well worth it. The food was excellent, I believe Quinnton, he was on top of it. Only downfall was it was VERY loud, no fault of the establishment. This was a recommendation by my high school buddy. It did not disappoint. Highly recommend, leave yourself some time for seating, don't be that guy / girl that complains. Give them your name and go to the shops nearby (all local).“

“Off the Wall was our first stop when we arrived in town and we made it our last stop on our way out! I wish I would’ve gotten the name of the guy who works in the front because he was great. He was so nice and helpful that I thought he was the owner. All of the food we tried was really good, I highly recommend the burger and fries. Also, being able to try any of the beers was a lot of fun. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!!“

“Ok - if yall haven’t been, or if you have been but you get sandwiches every time you go, I highly recommend you try their enormous “jumbo smoked chicken wings!”  I love their Italian, and they have great brisket and barbecue, but the “cackalacky wings” were awesome! AND - if Steven is working and you want them spicy hot, tell Molly at the register and she will have him hook you up! AND they have the battered fries that my wife loves so it’s a win-win! AND - they are one of the only restaurants on the northern end of the Outer Banks open all year. AND - a little birdie told me that sometime in March they will start having breakfast full-time as well!!!“

“We ate here on Friday Oct. 20. Bartender was super friendly. Highly recommend the clam chowder, best we've ever had. I had the Grouper special and it great. My wife had the Tuna, was super pleased, cooked perfect and not many places get it right. They did. Chef was great to talk to. She explained a lot as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. Backyard bar was our kind of place. The band had to cancel because of rain but It would have been a great place to see one. Will go back next time we are in Duck. Thanks for a great experience.“
