“So if you are in Beaufort NC anytime, you must do yourself a favor a grab a cheeseburger from this killer pool hall right in the heart of downtown Beaufort! They are so kind and always whipping up delicious food on the flat top!
I recently took their raw patties with me on a quick trip to The Cabins at Cape Lookout National Seashore and wow can’t beat that burger and the salty air!”

“My husband wanted to try Fried Soft Shell Crab and while we were in Beaufort NC we saw that Blackbeard’s had it on the menu. He ordered the build your own combo with the shrimp. He thought it was phenomenal and said the shrimp was the best he has had. I tried a cup of the Chowder and the Bisque. Both were really good but the chowder was my favorite. Carol our waitress was amazing, we were asking her about the soft shell crab and she gave us some history on the place. If you are in the area, make sure to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Historic Coffee Grounds knows how to make delicious coffee. They have some of the best, fresh ground hot coffee varieties and make some delicious cold brew concoctions as well. I love the toffee crunch and popcorn cold brews. Favorite place to grab a cup of coffee in Beaufort .”

“If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.”

“Stopped in for lunch yesterday, food was great. Restaurant was clean, but as we waited for our food and looked out at your front patio, it was sad to see the dead potted hibiscus trees. They can't be outdoors below 50°... if you had brought them inside in that sunny area for the winter, they would be blooming like mine is right now. You need to make your outdoor area visually appealing, instead of looking like you don't care about the place.”

“After dinner walk saw a line here so we joined them to get homemade ice cream. Biggest decision what flavor and cup or cone. Just know with this being homemade it doesn’t have all the preservatives in it so it will melt faster than store bought, so if you choose cone, no worries they have napkins and there’s a public bathroom next door to wash your hands. Definitely was worth stopping and standing in line”

“A local family owned business... Favorites are Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp. All of the shrimp dishes are very good and seem to be made with fresh local shrimp. Their white rice is perfect - I prefer it to the fried rice. Really good Chinese-American restaurant.”

“This was our first visit to this fantastic restaurant on the waterfront. Very nice menu with excellent choices prepared perfectly. We were very well taken care of by our server, and the GM stopped by to check on us.”

“This restaurant has been here several years and I never had a desire to stop in, probably due to a really poor experience at different Taco Bell location. I took a chance and stopped by recently and was very pleasantly surprised, the facility was very clean, staff was friendly, the meal was pretty good for a chain restaurant and the price was reasonable. Been back a couple more times since with the same experiences and they haven't made a mistake on my order yet. It may not be "authentic" mexican, but for what it is, this location has made me a fan again.”
