“Not a bad place to grab something quick but I wasn’t super impressed. Don’t bother telling them how to cook your eggs. They’ll just cook however they want. Lol. Overall the food was pretty decent, but I don’t necessarily think I’ll come back.“
“Part wine bar, part coffee shop. Popped into Cru on a Thursday afternoon while visiting Beaufort for a conference, and was pleasantly surprised by their wine selection. Fair priced bottles and most of their selection seems to be for folks that know what they're looking for - lots of Old World wines and great vintages. I didn't stay for a flight of wine (it was like 11am and didn't want to be judged!), but the flight prices were a great deal! Pick four wines, and you received a pour of each for half price. Will definitely return when I'm back in the evening, this place also has a full bar and looks like they pull in a cool crowd in the evenings.“
“Being vegetarian, there was a sandwich on the menu we wanted to try, only to find out they were out of one of the main ingredients.They made the sandwich a different way with olive oil and some other seasonings, and it turned out GREAT!! It was really nice of them to not just say they couldn’t make the sandwich, but to try anyway.Also, excellent coffee and chai!!“
“This morning I didn't know that I needed the Expertly made avocado and bacon toast. I have never in my life had toast with the avocado so perfectly spread upon the bread... when I say perfect I mean PERFECT. There was no run over and no blank spots. This kind of customer service needs to be replicated by others. Thank to whom ever was working there. Sometimes, you get life changeing events for the better and this was one for me. ? ?“
“Historic Grounds is my absolute favorite coffee shop! The atmosphere is so inviting & so are all of the baristas! The coffee is amazing every single time, my go to is the cold brew with any of their delicious flavors topped with cold foam! You can’t go wrong with any of their seasonal drink specials & make sure to grab a fresh baked goodie too!“
