“I've been here a few times and I always appreciate the vegetarian options. Some restaurants forget about us lol! I had the Wild Mushroom Pizza tonight with extra garlic and they did not hold back. I will be safe from vampires for a few days! Exactly what I asked for. Great service from Heidi the bartender and Samantha. Very attentive but not overwhelming. I just got out of work and wanted a snack and decompress. I feel very satisfied in every way. I will return...again!“

“I cannot say enough within this review to express how excellent Benny’s is. Firstly, the atmosphere is capturing from the exterior in. A beautiful, classic pizzeria with luxury table tops, stained glass fixtures, rustic wood floors and brick walls that provides an elegant yet warm feel throughout the dining experience. The service and hospitality were superb; every interaction from the host, bartender, server, and manager allowed me to feel welcomed and accommodated. Each member went above and beyond for my friend’s engagement celebration. We were greeted promptly and generously. I met the manager, Drew, and my server, Lauren, who were both fantastic. Lauren made us the best cocktails. She even juiced real apples to make the most phenomenal drink I have ever had. We ordered a pizza and Strombolis, which were all fantastic. They both came with a fresh salad and warm, crispy fries. We ended our experience with gelato, and even though our bellies were so full and happy, I don't think we could ever go back without getting the gelato for dessert. Everything was clean, beautiful, and tasty—just perfection. If you want a fun evening with exquisite food, friendly service, as well as a memorable experience, Benny’s is the place to go. Definitely a 10/10 all the way around and one of the best places in Wilmington to dine. Amazing for a celebration with friends and family or just a date night. Highly recommend!“

“I had a fried calzone tonight with Broccoli, sun dried tomatoes and xtra cheese. Never had a fried one before. All I can say is the ingredients taste so fresh! i wish the inside was hotter. I picked it up right as they took it out of the oven and made it home in 7 min. The food was in insulated bag. Probably have it baked next time. I was still very happy. Broccoli not soggy one bit, cheese perfect and sun dried tomatoes tasty!! i haven't had a calzone in years and I was very pleased. Maybe keep it in a deep friar a bit longer?“

“Editing my 4 star review to a perfect 5 star. My brother and I went there today ( a Saturday ) during the lunch hour. He ordered 2 slices of pizza with 2 toppings on each. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and a small pasta salad. A portion of one slice of my pizza had broken off, so he gave me another slice at no charge. Both my brother and I ordered water for our drinks. We were BEYOND satisfied with our bill, service, and food quality. My cheese pizza oozed with cheese. My pasta salad was delicious ? My bill was $10 and change. My brother's was $9 and change. No complaints WHATSOEVER ?????“

You can tell when someone cares about there job weather it's shoveling poop or making pizzas they did it to the best of their ability. “What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. Now, you would think after all that I just wrote that would be the best part of our experience, but it wasn’t! The absolute best part was one of the kindest people we have ever met, Bella! Let me tell you the meaning of her name fits in so many ways! She was absolutely incredible! So kind! So caring! I honestly could go on and on! She made my mine and my wife’s evening such a memorable night.“

I have had a great experience at this Papa Johns location. I actually have a closer Papa Johns near my home but I order from this location because it is run much better. So far I have no complaints. The food is as expected and as it should be.

“My delivery order tonight was an hour and a half late and I had to deliver it myself. I had to pick up myself after having waited over an hour for my order. We called multiple times with no answer and there was no other way to refund the order. When I arrived at the store I asked for a refund on the delivery charge since we were now picking up the pizza. There were maybe 7 employees including the manager where running around working. They let us know that about half of the scheduled employees did not show up for their shift. THIS MAN NOT ONLY MADE SURE TO GIVE US OUR REFUND BUT GAVE US A FREE PIZZA. This guy was sweating so much yet he was doing everything possible to still earn those FIVE stars. I am sure they are not getting many of these tonight but all of them deserve a raise. The pizza was delicious and this is the only time we have had any issue with this location!“

“Pizza/Hut on Castle Hayne Rd in Wilmington NC has never let us down. We order regularly for 3 years. They have consistently been accurate, fresh, hot, quality, and prompt, friendly delivery. Way to go Pizza Hut! Thank you for your excellence and restoration in above average customer service and satisfaction! Our delivery driver, who is fairly new to the team (my apologies for the failure to retain your name) was extremely friendly, and apologetic, because he felt he should have been faster at locating our difficult to find business location, that is hard to decipher even to those of us familiar with the property. Not only was it his first exposure to the property on a new job but it was after dark on a foggy rainy night. He was patient, friendly, smiling, and apologetic for something out of his control. He Not only still brought hot quality pizza, but exemplified style, grace, consideration, and compassion for his job and customers. Kudos young man! You nailed it ? -“

Food-wise there are good ingredients being used on the burger and the cook does a good job of preparing BUT they’re missing a good expo to run food and make sure the ticket matches the order. I was missing a sauce and saw the cook running food numerous times to tables. Seems like they need an upgrade at manager. Anyway, I’ve heard poor reviews about the pizza so I tried it myself. This is not an award winning recipe by any means but the slices are huge. Perfect if you need a vehicle to get toppings ingested but I would not recommend plain as it truly is not impressive at all. Decent spot for watching sports at the bar. Seems like a place that caters to local regulars more than passers by. The ginger bartender girl was awesome and handled a lot going on at once. She seemed to be the only glue holding it together in the front of the house. With little competition they’ll make it but it wouldn’t hurt to polish up the operation a bit.“
