“I never miss a chance to eat at Little Bit's at Oak Island for the best burger. Get it Bit's way, or how ever you want it. Had a 100 score from Health Department. It is clean, fast, great service and fun to watch them make this great food. Sit at the counter, it's a great show.“

“Our shrimp feast was fabulous! My favorite was the peel and eat and the coconut shrimp was a close second. Phyllis' shrimp cocktail was also awesome. Easy boat parking and friendly, fast service from Amber with lots of drink refills. Highly recommend!“

“We had the table on the water. Beautiful view!! Unfortunately my phone slipped out of my hand and went straight into the water. Being a teenager without insurance on my phone I was obviously freaking out. The whole restaurant watched me jump off the dock in search of my phone and i was unsuccessful. Then, the manager of the restaurant came in so clutch. He jumped in after explaining he’s retrieved 28/28 phones. It was high tide so the chances were 1 to 100 but he got it after like 10 minutes. It still works and I’m using it currently to write this! He also would only accept my tip for his restaurant, not himself. the customer service is fire, and so is the food!“

“My husband and I ate here on Thursday night, both had the ribeye. It was so good and so was our waitress. We went back Friday night, I had the shrimp and he had the unicorn fish, all was good. We had a young guy for our waiter, he had such a great personality, all smiles and polite.“

“It's been a rough few weeks for small business owners in Southport since the storm and local road issues haven't helped. The other day instead of waiting in traffic I stopped in to check on a friend & fellow restaurant owner at Southport Gourmet and Sushi Bar. Like me at The Saucy Southerner their daily business has been greatly affected and I had an idea I offered the owners. I decided to put together a night with friends and let the restaurant show off a little! Let me tell you!! They showed off big time and made us the most amazing meal!! Our group ate until we couldn't eat any more, and then we ate more!! Everything was fresh, great service and the food was delicious!!! From the sensational appetizers to kick things off, to the second course of some delightful fresh sushi boats and then finished it off with some of their favorite items!! All around we all had a wonderful time and we're grateful to be able to support a local small business during these challenging times. The best part was we beat all the traffic issues, had quality time with friends and made the night a little better for everyone involved! Get out there and support local small businesses and slow down a little. Live life and have fun!!“

“This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Brunswick County. The location, atmosphere, exceptional waitresses and waiters and the best menu. I'm an hour away or I would be there more often. For the old lady birthdays celebrations The Rusty Hook is my go to. Will be the this Sunday and cannot wait. Never disappointed.“

“Pros: Great customer service, nice personality, food pretty good, corn ribs amazing! Cons: took about an hour to wait in line and receive food. Online ordering down, didn’t answer their phones. I think I had 2 little shrimp in my shrimp taco – portions pretty small. Didn’t give us the burrito we ordered. Might try again next year for lunch.“

“First time here. I had a take out, and I ordered the spaghetti. Its very basic, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a bottle, no favor, and the noobles needed salt. I only eat what I could, and threw out the rest in the garbage. As for the restaurant itself, it needs be renovated. Looks like an old pizza hut from the 80's.“

“Let me start with we're here on vacation and had a party of 13, this included 7 children ranging 7-15 years old and 6 adults. The owners were very quick to accommodate us and get us seated, very friendly as well. Our waitress was Molly and she was phenomenal with our crazy group! Food was delicious too! Absolutely recommend this place, 10/10 rating.“
