The lady working there, is there sun up to sun down almost every single day. I am sure she has good and bad days, we all do. She and her family are just trying to make a living during a very difficult time. I like their food, my daughter asks for it pretty often and she is picky so if she is happy, I am happy. Yes, during the throws of COVID, times were hard, especially for people of their nationality working in the South. Let's face it, I am sure the lady behind the counter has seen 'some' at their very worst. Think about it, Really!Also,Prices are going up everywhere, products are hard to get, and if you ask for 'extra' or change the order, you will be paying for it!Have patience, have compassion. And if we are nice, I promise, it is reciprocated. Ask her how her day has been, say thank you. Your conscience is clear.I have worked food service before, people treat waitstaff like lower life forms. Not all do, but some. Just please, be nice.Enjoy your meal and if it isn't what you expected, that is okay, don't go back.”

“I can say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! Great staff, great owners, great coffee. You feel part of the Bald Head Coffee and Tea House family when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local (16 miles round trip daily with my Golden Retriever). My dog gets spoiled just as much as I do. A tasty pup cup with a peanut butter/oatmeal cookie that is locally made, topping it. The pup cookies are sold there as well as many wonderful bakery items and sandwiches, locally made sourdough bread, teas and coffees and much more… I enjoy the outdoor patio which is perfect when the weather’s nice and dogs are welcome. Hands down, my favorite!”

“I have been a big fan of Mo’s Pizza for years. Today I tried some other menu options and was completely blown away. The pasta and marinara are excellent. The vegetables are well prepared and fresh. They are not heavily sauced but rely on their natural flavor. The roasted potatoes were exceptional. Service was very friendly, prompt and professional. A real plus is being able to get a first rate meal without having to sit in traffic for an hour. Plenty of free parking more bonus points! Highly recommended!”

“Amazing cinnamon rolls!! Our family orders these annually when we visit Holden Beach. They're huge and we look forward to them each year. I'd suggest getting an extra pack of icing for these giant rolls. The key is to preorder them online!! The line for same day purchases is always out the door.”

“We stopped by on our way to Fort Caswell for coffees and muffins and we were so impressed with the friendliness and service that we stopped again several days later on our way home for lunch. The wraps were delicious, the pretzel was amazing, the tea and coffee made to perfection, even the cookies were heavenly. We will definitely stop again on our next trip.”
