“As new residents we ate dinner here for the first time on 4/3/24. We were served by Shelby who recommended a variety of appetizers and entrees. My wife ordered the blackened salmon, a salad and mashed potatoes. I ordered catfish, a salad and collards. I was amazed how Shelby served her tables so promptly, without missing a beat. Her shoes were smoking like the track at Talladega. Our fish entrees were tender and moist. I especially enjoyed the collards, asking for a second side serving. For dessert we shared a mouthwatering slice of key lime pie. The stellar service from Shelby and the delicious food will surely bring us back again!“

“Tried it for the first time today - the fried mushrooms are so good! Their ranch dressing tastes homemade. I'm interested in trying other things on the menu (their wings looked so good), the menu is quite large. This place is an experience, not a place I would go to for a quick bite - how will you have time to play their connect 4 game or go play by the river? Looking forward to experiencing all of Lost Paddle when the weather warms up, the wagon tents look amazing!“

“The food is great. The staff is very friendly and work really hard to get orders out quickly. The manager however was really rude when interacting with her staff. Ms. Ella could have conducted business without being crass with employees with customers watching.“

“Stopped by for a quick lunch on our way to Raleigh from Savannah. And their food was delicious! I had the Stroganoff soup, my husband had a cheeseburger. Even their fries were very well seasoned. The price….amazing! For a family for 4 our total was $32. We can’t even eat at Chick-fil-A for that price anymore. Best little stop for lunch. If traveling through must stop location!“

“I stopped by here for lunch and was pleasantly greeted at the door with a HWY 55 waitress opening the door for me. The team working was very friendly and welcoming. I sat at the table bar and was waited on by Emily. Emily gave me a sample of strawberry cheesecake ice cream when I sat down and it was excellent. After taking my order the food arrived in a flash. The french fries were great and it seemed better than my previous visit. They had the right amount of salt and flavor. I ordered a Big American Double Cheese burger with the fries and a diet Pepsi. Emily asked if I wanted bacon so I added that also. While sitting there eating I got a front row seat of how a restaurant should be ran. The lady managing the store was keeping this team running like a fine tuned machine. As soon as she seen someone approaching the door she would alert the employees to make sure they opened it for them. She went back and fourth to the front of the dining room, to the drive thru window, and the kitchen to make sure everything was running smoothly. The employees worked together picking up where they needed to reduce time for customers. I told the waitress Emily that I wanted to get some of the ice cream she gave me a sample of when I arrived. While she was punching the extra order into the computer another employee overheard me ordering it and immediately to my surprise started making it. As soon as the order was placed the ice cream was sat in front me. The ice cream and the food was great but what made all this great was the service. The service at this restaurant is Chic-Filet quality or better. This must have been the feeling Ray Kroc felt when he visited his first McDonalds in California. I applaud the effort and I am sure many other do also. That is the reason the parking lot and inside the store is filled with customers daily. Thank you!“
