“Been coming here for 4 years... 4 long years but I think the staff do their best to serve us and keep us fed. Granted the food rarely changes but it is consistent and I've never left hungry! Thank you for the service and I will miss it!“

“I have lived in Jacksonville for 8 years, but never tried Church's. I'm from Wilmington and had tried the one there maybe 3 times, and it was disgusting each time. Greasy balls of salty mush.I am so glad I decided to give this place a try today, despite the somewhat mixed reviews.I went inside and was immediately greeted my the nice young woman behind the counter. Forgot to ask her name but, she was tall and slender. I had a couple questions and she answered pleasantly. Two more orders came in behind me and she was very pleasant and professional with them as well. Those working behind her and at drive thru seemed pleasant as well.The restaurant itself was nice and clean.The chicken was amazing! Fresh and well seasoned. I find most places "spicy" chicken isn't all that spicy, but there's was just right ?.I also ordered gizzard, which were also tasty. The biscuit they came with was fresh and soft.I don't think the time I waited for my food was unreasonable and she kept me updated on what she was waiting for.I didn't try any sides, but I will return!“

“Hadn’t been to a KFC in years so we went to get a bucket of fried chicken and sides. Hands down the best meal I have had from any fast food place in Jacksonville. We ordered and they told us it would be a wait for the leg/thigh meat we wanted which was ok. The cashier lady gave us some drinks while we waited which was nice. Got our food and took it home 10-15 minutes away. Still fresh and hot and all of the chicken was perfectly fried and juicy, the sides we got were hot and yummy. Will for sure be back as they are definitely on their A-game at this KFC location. So good, thank you!“

“Chicken was really good...Follow up in Jacksonville NC…We drove 20 minutes out of the way to Popeyes. When we arrived, we could hear someone sneezing uncontrollably in the back (I asked if she was okay).The chicken was okay (slightly undercooked), the fries were a little better. My wife’s chicken had to be replaced with tenders (smelled bad after she took a bite). This is by far the worst Popeyes I have visited as it pertains to food & cleanliness. I will add that the customer service was great, the person who took our order was upbeat and pleasant. This is to hopefully get the owners attention and an unannounced visit. Photos added.“
